Nice idea, but mine don't like it.
Actually, I thought the litter was great because it has a pleasant wood scent and can be disposed of in the toilet, which would be a relief with three cats. Unfortunately, though, my little tigers didn’t like it—one even preferred to go in the bathtub!! On top of that, I have hay fever and asthma, and the litter had a negative impact in that regard as well. It’s not nice having to use my asthma inhaler after every cat litter cleaning...

Super clumping litter
Finally, I’ve found the right litter.
With every other litter (e.g., even Golden Grey Master), there was that typical urine smell after three days at the latest. I’m not entirely as satisfied when it comes to the "big business" and the yield, though. Nevertheless, I’m definitely sticking with Cat’s Best Öko Plus.

The "almost" perfect litter!
We have 2 house cats and 2 Ragdolls (all strictly indoor cats!). After many, many, maaaany litter tests, I was very sceptical because, so far, ALL litters have failed to live up to what was promised on the packaging sooner or later. (With all the clumping litters I’ve tested, I’ve always cleaned the litter box twice a day to remove the "clumps," just as I do now.) With Cats Best Öko Plus, our bathroom hardly smells at all anymore of that typical "cat urine ammonia smell"! I’m really impressed because every visitor can’t believe we actually have 4 cats! Plus, it’s extremely economical and clumps well. Now, let me quickly explain why it’s only "almost" the perfect litter. Unfortunately, there’s one downside: since the litter is very lightweight, it gets spread everywhere! But I’m happy to put up with daily vacuuming if it means our home smells nice. I’ve only been topping up the same litter for several weeks now! I haven’t had to completely refill the litter box even once. Absolutely brilliant!

My tomcat and I are very happy. My 5-year-old tomcat, whom I’ve only had since yesterday, ventured out of his corner last night and went to the litter tray, which made me very happy. He hasn’t eaten or drunk anything yet. The litter must be very comfortable for cats. Both types of waste are very easy to remove, and it doesn’t create any dust. We’re very satisfied.

I think it's a great litter. My very sensitive cat, with whom I consulted an animal behaviour therapist a few weeks ago due to "cleanliness issues," has liked the litter from the start. My "problem kitty" is really very picky, but she loves digging in it, which I, of course, find great because it clumps so wonderfully and can be disposed of in the toilet. Since my cat doesn't go outside, it's very helpful that I can flush it down the toilet without any issues, as it's biodegradable. Afterwards, I spray the "human toilet" with disinfectant, and it's all good.
I can only recommend this litter. Sure, I also find a bit of litter on the floor after Lucy does her "business," but it was the same with other litters because she just loves to dig.

Simply brilliant!!!!
For years, I've been using this litter for my kitties and I think it's just brilliant. It doesn't smell, is easy to dispose of, clumps perfectly, and is very economical. Unfortunately, it tends to stick easily to their paws, and every now and then you end up with some stuck to your socks! Still, I always recommend it!

Best litter I have ever used
Over the years I have tried every type of litter. Before trying Cats Best I tried ultra clumping clay litters. Some were OK but others disintegrated when removing the clumps. Somebody recommended Cats Best and I was skeptical but now use it for all 4 litter trays. It clumps very well and there are no smells (as long as solids are removed) As only the dirty litter is removed, it is very economical. A bag lasts over a month (per tray). It is also very light so easy to dispose of. They say it can be flushed but I don't recommend it as it can block the toilet. It is eco-friendly which is a bonus.

For seven years, I searched for the perfect litter material and have only just now tried Cats's Best Öko Streu. It no longer produces dust, the litter clumps wonderfully, and it is especially odourless. The cost-effectiveness is completely surprising. This will remain our litter material—such a shame we only discovered it now.

Not suitable for long-haired cats
The litter is unfortunately so light that it sticks to the fur of my Persian cat and ends up scattered all over the flat. I also don’t find the clumping particularly impressive. The clumps fall apart and are therefore hardly removable.

No odour, excellent clumping - top-notch
Our two indoor tigers took to the litter straight away. It doesn’t smell unpleasant at all and clumps really well. Plus, it’s very economical. We’re thrilled to have found such a great litter that’s also biodegradable.

Very long-lasting!!!
Very economical cat litter, lasts three to four months with two cats. It's just a shame that it gets spread all over the flat because it sticks to their paws. The cats took to it very well!

Great
I searched for a long time and tried out a lot.
From regular bentonite litter, including types that supposedly don’t produce dust, to all kinds of silica litter.
We’ve been using this litter for half a year now, and we’re sticking with it. Finally, a litter that all four lions can tolerate and accept, and humans don’t suffer from it either. Plus, it absorbs liquids and odours brilliantly.
Completely satisfied.

Super cat litter
I’ve tried many different cat litters, but only Cats Best Öko Plus has truly convinced me. It doesn’t smell at all and absorbs liquid really well. What I particularly like is being able to dispose of it via the toilet!

Cats Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
I am super satisfied with the cat litter. I've had cats for over 20 years and have tried many different types. At the moment, I have 4 cats: 1 cat aged 14 years, and 3 tomcats aged 12, 3, and 2 years, along with 2 large jumbo litter boxes—one with a lid and one open. There's no smell, and it's very economical; I only need to completely clean the litter boxes about every 3 months. I used to use the litter from Lidl and had to replace it completely every week. Cats Best is more than twice as expensive as the Lidl litter, but it's worth every penny. I'll happily stick with it. Best regards, Brunhilde

Cat's Best Öko is the best.
I am a proud housemate to eight (8) cuddly tigers, and the best cat litter I’ve ever come across is Cat’s Best Öko.
There’s no smell in my flat, and with eight cats, one bag lasts me almost 4 weeks.
I’m absolutely thrilled!
The only downside to this amazing litter is that 32 little paws unfortunately spread it all over the flat.
But thanks to that, I’ve developed a lovely relationship with my vacuum cleaner – smile. 😊

less impressed
After seeing mostly positive comments here, I decided to buy a large pack myself. Unfortunately, I really can't say anything positive about it ;-(. I had been using Golden Grey litter and was super satisfied, but I wanted to try something eco-friendly for the sake of the environment—and now I regret it. It barely clumps at all, and as soon as you try to scoop out the clumps, they just fall apart again. I had to clean the litter box completely much more often than before. I wasn’t impressed by the smell either; my husband and son outright refused to clean the litter box with this litter. They used to do it willingly, but since I bought the new litter, I had to clean it myself ;-(. As soon as you opened the basement door, there was already an unpleasant smell. So, as you can tell, I will never buy this litter again and will go back to the tried-and-tested Golden Grey.

Cat's Best Cat Litter - the most brilliant cat litter ever!!!
I've read some comments here. Honestly, some people claim this litter is dusty or that cats can only urinate in it. That's absolute nonsense. We have three cats, and all three take burying their business veeery seriously. That's why we even have an extra high litter box. The litter is completely odourless... we sometimes leave it in for almost two months because the clumps are super easy to remove, and the litter still smells pleasant. It's truly fascinating. At first, we were a bit shocked by the price, but when you calculate it, it's the cheapest litter we've ever had.
JUST AAAAMAZING!

Very good litter.
The litter absorbs moisture and, above all, odour very well. At first, our tomcat was a bit puzzled by the woody smell, but after a very short adjustment period, he found the litter absolutely brilliant. It's also quite amusing to watch him when he's finished with his "toilet visit" and wipes off the bits of litter stuck to his paws on the mat in front of the tray. It looks just like a person wiping their shoes on a doormat.
In any case, I recommend keeping a broom or handheld vacuum cleaner handy next to the toilet, as the litter is very lightweight and tends to stick to the paws a little. It's not really a big deal (unless you're a complete cleaning grouch).
The clumping effect is also very good. I tested it with a few grains of litter and some water. The litter absorbs it like a sponge and really increases in volume.
Disposing of it via the household toilet is super easy too. We've placed the cat litter tray directly next to our own toilet for this reason.
All in all, the litter is highly recommended.

My two are thrilled...
At first, I only filled one litter tray with the litter, and they were instantly convinced.
I'm also really happy with this litter; it hardly smells when cleaning. Only when the "big" business has just been done, it stinks quite a bit. But that was the case with the bentonite litter too. It doesn't always clump perfectly, but I'm happy to accept that. I can only recommend it!

Another contribution to climate protection
Right from the moment I spread the litter, I noticed its pleasant scent. Our cats immediately accepted and "tested" the litter. The result: very satisfactory! It binds odours well, looks nice, and there’s no dust, etc.
Regarding the criticism about the litter being spread around the house: I can’t agree with that, as it doesn’t result in more or less spreading compared to other litters.
I recommend giving this litter a try and forming your own opinion! Great for climate protection and also for the health of the cats :-)
