Very nearly 5 stars :-)
Much more convenient than the non-clumping pelleted sawdust: just remove the lumps and replenish the box. Before reading the minor gripes, note that I've just ordered 2 more large bags.
But not quite perfect: the particles of litter are very light and seem to stick to the cats' feet more than the pellets; there's a little more of the stuff scattered on the floor around the box. Also, like the pellets, tiny fragments of wet stuff are inevitably left behind to become a layer of dust in the litter and I'm still trying to work out how best to get the cats to pee in the dusty bits and use it up.

Very economical/odour-binding clumping litter
A few weeks ago, I became the proud owner of a sweet little cat. Naturally, I had to get everything ready in advance. One of the questions that came up was: Which cat litter is good, affordable, and economical? After trying out a few options (with moderate success), Cats Best Clumping Litter was recommended to me. I ordered it through ZooPlus and am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. Thanks to its efficient absorption of urine, it’s very economical and odour-neutral. My cat accepted the litter straight away, and that’s one of the most important things. After all, she should feel comfortable in her toilet. I can only recommend it!!!

Simply thrilled!
I've had my kitty for 8 years now, and over time I've tried many different types of cat litter. Recently, my sister introduced me to Cat's Best, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. The clumping is as good as I've ever seen with any other litter. It's long-lasting and has a woody smell. I can't confirm that it stinks – not of sauerkraut or anything else. My cat is also perfectly happy with it. The only downside: the litter tends to spread around the flat. You do need to get the vacuum cleaner out a bit more often, but it's worth it!

Positives outweigh!
I've been using this litter for quite some time now and will continue to do so because its efficiency and price simply convince me. It clumps very well, and the big advantage is being able to dispose of the clumps via the toilet! However, I have to agree with other reviews that the clumps always stick to the fur and paws and get carried all over the flat, but I had the same problem with all other types of litter I tried. It's really inconvenient if, like me, you keep the litter box in the bathroom, as the crumbs on the floor get wet and then stick everywhere.
The issue with the smell is something everyone perceives differently. I personally love the scent of fresh wood and think it lasts for a long time. My partner, on the other hand, thinks it stinks and quickly starts smelling strongly of ammonia. Perception of smell is just very subjective.
But it's definitely worth giving it a try!!!

Clumping litter that's also suitable for kittens
We've been using this for about 3 months now for our little kitten (6 months old) and can only recommend it.
I really can't understand or believe what some people are saying about it smelling like vomit, sauerkraut, etc.
It has a very mild and pleasant woody scent.
If the cat properly buries her droppings straight away, you don't smell anything. I also haven't noticed any urine odour.
The litter clumps very well and is super economical.
I remove the clumps and droppings in the morning and evening, and occasionally top up the litter (every 1-2 weeks). It lasts forever.
Above all, as far as I know, this is the only clumping litter suitable for kittens, as it's made from natural raw materials and poses no risk if ingested.
Before this, I tried various other types of litter for kittens, but I wasn't satisfied with any of them, and the kitten ended up doing her business in the living room twice.
Since I've been using this litter, nothing has ever ended up outside the litter box.
5***** from us for this litter!!!

Super Bedding
Hello, I've been using this litter for two weeks now and haven't had to completely change it yet. It clumps perfectly, and the waste can be conveniently disposed of via the toilet. Most importantly: no smell! The litter doesn't have an unpleasant odour of its own (it has a slight woody scent) and it doesn't smell of cats either... It's truly incredible! Great stuff and absolutely recommendable.

Smells absolutely vile!!!
Smells disgusting like vomit or something similar throughout the whole house, creates dust, gets everywhere, and sticks to the fur. Clumping is fine.

Positive experience with Cat's Best
I've been using this litter for several years now, and my cats like it too, so I don't switch. I find it very economical and just great. However, there really should be a 20-litre bag available!

It smells like sauerkraut...
I usually use clumping litter, which I only completely replace every four weeks, and it still smells pleasant. I should have stuck with that... because Cats Best Öko Plus doesn’t live up to its promises, even though it initially seems affordable. After just one week, the entire room smells sour, like sauerkraut. When the cat uses the litter box, the "fragrance" lingers forever. The clumping is good, but that’s about the only positive thing. For our cats, I’ll be going back to the regular clumping litter next time, which is miles better!

Very poor litter
The litter smells absolutely awful when the cats do their business. It ends up scattered all over the flat. It gets stuck in their fur. If it gets wet (since it’s kept in the bathroom) and a few crumbs are lying around, it sticks everywhere, even under your feet. It gets flattened and then you have to scrape it off the floor. Never again!

Not impressed
We bought this litter because we wanted to try something different again, but I have to say I’m really disappointed. It smells awful after the cats have been to the toilet, and with our Persian cat, everything sticks to her fur, so she drags it all around the house—even into the bed. I would never buy it again—not recommended.

I’m pleasantly surprised :-)
I came across this cat litter by chance (magazine). I read the reviews and was very curious about this product, as it is biodegradable. Thanks also to Zooplus for the quick delivery. At first, I was a bit sceptical, but the litter is simply fantastic – everything about it is just right. The smell, good clumping, etc. I definitely won’t be trying any other cat litter again. It’s really very economical, and the value for money is excellent.

Odour nuisance and public urination
For heaven's sake... I was so thrilled with this litter! Biodegradable, no sticking to the floor when wiped wet, super easy to dispose of. And then this: After a week, a hellish stench coming from the loo, the whole room smelled sour. And the cats showed their appreciation: with lovely puddles of pee in every corner and on all the blankets. A complete litter change only achieved one thing: three days of dry blankets. Now they demonstratively pee on the wool blanket next to me while I’m having coffee or on my pillow if the bed isn’t covered. Thanks a lot, never again will this litter go in the loos. I've now ordered Golden Grey Masters again. Better not flush it down the loo than constantly cleaning up puddles of pee.

My tomcat says "No"
I personally found the litter excellent! Really economical, soft pellets, and easy to remove. Unfortunately, though: my tomcat put up with it for 5 days and today he peed in the corner, outside the litter box. I had already been wondering for days why he was peeing so rarely (normally 5-6 times a day, but with this litter only a maximum of 3 times a day). So, I’m switching back and saving money. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Super cat litter
I've been using this litter since 25/06/09. I ordered it on a colleague's recommendation... 18 kilos/40 litres... And this is my first pack, and I still have about a third left. The litter is very economical, smells good, and can be easily disposed of via the toilet. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Cats Best Cat Litter
I've been using this cat litter from the very beginning and will stick with it. It clumps really well (as long as you don't clean up immediately after the cat's business), is very economical (lasts a long time), and my cat seems to like it too, as she always uses the litter box and doesn't go anywhere else.

Basically very good, but...
...my tomcat must have eaten some of it, as he developed mysterious constipation (diet changes, medication, etc. didn’t help in the long run), which only disappeared when I switched the litter to natural clay litter a month ago. Apparently, he had a taste for it – even though he’s certainly not starving.
Therefore, 2 points deducted.
