Super cat litter The best we've ever had!!!
"Over 1000 positive reviews can't be wrong!" I have to agree with Zooplus.de!
We’ve tried countless types of cat litter, and during my last order at Zooplus.de, I came across this cat litter and decided to give it a go. Now we’re convinced too because:
- It hardly weighs anything
- It can be disposed of via the household toilet
- It simply smells like wood
- It forms only very small clumps
- It’s biodegradable (for the eco freaks :D)
There are certainly more advantages, but the best one is that it’s very affordable. We went for the 40-litre version, which is quite large and takes up a lot of space, so I’d recommend opting for a smaller quantity instead :)
Many thanks to Zooplus as well for the speedy delivery!

Enthusiasm has waned
Pro:
I've been using this litter ever since I got my cats. At first, I thought it was great. The litter box doesn't smell, you can flush it down the toilet, and it's really economical.
Con:
The litter gets scattered all over the flat because it's made of wood fibres and breaks down over time.
I end up vacuuming at least twice a day and sweeping five times.
When you try to clean the litter box, the clumps fall apart, leaving tiny bits in the box that you have to fish out one by one.
Over time, the litter creates an incredible amount of dust, which you’ll find all over the floor, bathroom furniture, chairs, and even on your slippers.
Never again...

Black cat comes out of the loo white :(
I was recommended this litter. The first week, I was very satisfied. It clumps brilliantly and controls odours really well. After a week, I noticed that my cat kept coming out of the litter box covered in dust. A couple of times, I wiped his paws, and a slimy, glue-like film remained on my hands. No wonder the little one kept sneezing, especially after coming out of the box. The dust became increasingly worse. After three weeks, there was still no unpleasant smell, and the clumping was still excellent. But my cat came out completely white. Extreme dust development – hence the 2-star deduction!

TOP Bedding
We’ve tried various types of litter, and this is by far the best! It was recommended to us by the cat protection organisation. The clear advantage here is that the litter can be disposed of in the toilet. So no more storing it in the bin :-) It produces hardly any dust. Great clumping! The clumps rarely break apart when removing them, so you can easily get rid of the soiled litter. Great value for money!

Quite good
Only the suction power could be better.

A half size would be ideal
Why is the intermediate size no longer available? It was absolutely perfect to wear.

on the whole very pleased
my 5 cats have been using oko plus now for about the last 6 months. on the whole i am very pleased with it. in comparison to fullers earth and silicon cat litters i think it is excellent in the way it clumps so easily therefore making it unnecessary to completely clean out so often. the only drawback is the amount of tracking. however, i have found that by using the litter mats to put next to the litter boxes, it does help to reduce tracking quite a bit. will definately continue using oko plus.

No acceptance from my five.
I wanted to give this litter a try. Unfortunately, my five were unanimous in deciding that they think the litter is rubbish. Not a single one used this loo. Probably too coarse for their delicate little paws ;-)

Never anything else again!
CBÖP is, in my opinion (and that of our cats), the best cat litter on the market! No other litter will ever go in the tray again – it’s affordable in comparison, lasts a long time, absorbs odours well, binds liquid quickly, and the clumps are easy to remove from the tray without sticking to the scoop. Perfect!

Best wood-based
I haven't tried other types of litter other than wood-based, but I have tried other brands which turn to mush. I have a door-mat (runner length) outside the litter tray "flap" and don't generally get any tracking of litter beyond this mat. I would recommend this litter and I don't use anything else now.

The best...
Our two Maine Coons have taken to this litter very well; they've been using it for a long time now. However, I did switch once to the variant for long-haired cats (Nature Gold by Cat's Best). That litter is also highly recommended, as hardly anything sticks to the fur and the surroundings stay cleaner.
For those who don’t mind the little crumbs, this litter is the one to go for—it’s VERY economical and clumps quickly and reliably.

Super cat litter
We've been using this cat litter for a few weeks now. I can only say it's brilliant—easy to dispose of via the toilet, no smell, and very economical.

hmm..not too sure about this!
After reading all these reviews (which were a mixture of good and bad) and looking for a litter that wasn't clay based (used 'Litter Purrfect' from cost co. for last 4 years) we decided to give this one a try.. sadly disappointed with the results. with our old litter we used to find bits over the kitchen floor and sometimes on work units..but this ended up everywhere..and I mean everywhere! even upstairs! (we can only think it's because they're long haired maine coons) the clumps crumble when you're trying to shake the unused bits from the scoop and it doesn't disguise the smell neither. So if you have 1 or 2 short haired cats this may be suitable for you, but we will definately be going back to our old litter which is excellent at clumping and disguising the smell. Mental note to self..don't keep trying different litters because I don't think we'll find one better than litter purrfect!

Best litter so far
I’ve tried several types and will stick with this one. It’s easy to dispose of, doesn’t smell, and my cats like using it.

Best Litter Out There
I have been using this litter for years now and in my opinion it is certainly the best out there, and I've tried many. Yep it tracks but so does most litter - at the speed the cats come out of the tray it's not surprising!! I have two trays, one is a Booda Dome tray and this has stopped a lot of the tracking compared to the normal hooded one. The fact that some have said their cats poo still smells is to do with what they eat and not the litter, it cant make poo smell. My cats eat a high quality food and their poo doesn't smell at all. The problem I experienced with other litters was the lingering amonia smell, especially with Catsan granules, the wee would sink to the bottom of the tray resulting in very wet smelly litter. Oko plus completely absorbs all amonia smells and the tray remains dry. It clumps amazingly well making litter clearing on the whole a much better job.

The best litter ever!
I've tried quite a few types of litter already! The cats and I were never really convinced.
This litter is simply amazing! It smells wonderfully pleasant like wood, is super economical, and the kitties accepted it straight away.
Sure, a few bits of litter end up scattered around the flat, but not much more than with other types (you just don’t notice it as much with others because the pieces are smaller ;) ), and you shouldn’t forget the health aspect!!! Some bentonite litters have been proven to be harmful to the health of our cats.
So, I can only say it again: TOP!!!

Amazing! Finally, one that lasts long and smells great!
After seeing how many positive reviews this litter had, we decided to order it straight away – and went for the 40-litre pack right off the bat. And what can we say? This pack lasted a good one and a half months with two cats and a large litter box. We ordered it in January and have just ordered the next pack today (March).
We use quite a lot of the litter in the box to ensure the urine doesn’t reach the bottom. The litter clumps brilliantly and doesn’t contaminate the surrounding litter, so you’re left with just one big clump. It has a wonderfully pleasant woody smell and can be easily disposed of in the toilet.
One load of litter lasts a good two weeks in the box, and if you clean it daily, it can last even longer. Even if you don’t keep it super clean for 2–3 days, it doesn’t smell nearly as bad as other types of litter.
I can highly recommend it!

BRILLIANT
I love it, my two 8-year-old house cats less so, but they'll just have to deal with it :) I've been using this litter for a month now and it's all advantages for me: high disposal costs are eliminated (disposal is done via the toilet), no more heavy lugging around of clumping litter, the litter smells pleasant and doesn't absorb odours, it forms clumps > making cleaning easy, etc. My cats have slightly longer fur and the "tracking" of litter around the flat is manageable. My tomcat is less skilled than the female *g*. A 10-litre bag fits perfectly into the extra-large litter box (Jumbo), which I ordered at the same time.
