Good eco-litter
Among the range of wood-based litters, CBÖP has been our number one for years.
However, for households with strong-smelling tomcats, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it due to its less-than-ideal odour neutralisation.
For our kittens, though, it serves its purpose perfectly.

What more could you want?
Clumps very well, smells good, and is very economical. You should make sure to clean the litter box of dirt at least once within 24 hours; it’s even better to clean it once in the morning and once in the evening. That way, it’s super quick, and you don’t get those tiny clumps that you have to painstakingly sift out :)

Unfortunately failed
From now on, I’ll be using regular cat litter again. What bothered me the most was the unpleasant, almost overpowering smell, which is similar to small animal bedding, and the many crumbs my cats spread around the flat because the litter is so lightweight. On top of that, my cats only reluctantly accepted the litter and stopped burying their droppings. Still, I’m giving it 3 stars because the absorbency is really excellent, and the litter is wonderfully easy to carry due to its low weight. By the way, I only disposed of the litter via the toilet a few times, as I was a bit worried it might eventually clog. Plus, the water consumption increases dramatically, especially if you have multiple cats.

Best ever
I've been using this litter for almost 4 years now and I'm still impressed. Of course, you get small crumbs around the house – but honestly, with which litter don't you? That would be my genuine question to those who criticise it...
The cats accept it. It doesn't create dust, it's super lightweight and really economical – especially in the large bag, it's very cost-effective :)

Suction power is great, but...
Both of my cats like this cat litter. The absorbency is excellent, lasts a long time, and smells pleasant, but the litter gets tracked all over the flat. Sweeping is needed several times a day, and vacuuming once a day. That’s incredibly annoying.

Not bad though odour problem
It is good in the clumps though not completely. When you scoop it out it breaks apart. Also the odour has a VERY bad problem so the downside to this littler for my lovely kitty. Overall its not that best. I will be trying something else for now.

Great!
Since last summer, when a kitten moved in, this litter has been in use for all our cats, and we haven’t used anything else since. There’s no dust, no smell, and the fact that I have to vacuum daily has been the case with every litter so far. My asthmatic cat is doing much better with this litter and doesn’t cough at all after using the toilet. Hopefully, the good quality will remain. Another advantage: it’s wonderfully lightweight!

My bunny loves it ...
I’d like to share my review of the litter today. My cat didn’t accept it back then; she loves the feeling of sand on her paws :-) … So, I had a lot left over from the big bag. I tried it out for my rabbits and I have to say, it’s a really great solution. The clumps are removed daily, and once a week the cage is thoroughly cleaned. None of our visitors have ever noticed that we have a rabbit at home. The 40-litre bag lasts us for a month (an indoor cage in the flat with one rabbit living in it / with two rabbits, the big bag lasted an average of three weeks). … I’m really happy with the product for small animals and have been ordering it diligently for 8 months now :-)

Absorbent and flushable but oh! that tracking
I have tried most types of litter since my elderly cat became enforcably housebound; this one is good on absorbency, not bad at odour control, clumps well and - best of all - is flushable but.....due to its light weight it is the worst for tracking (even with the use of a special mat in front of the tray) that I have come across and can be found all over the house, necessitating vacuuming several times per day.

Two hearts beating in my chest
I used this litter for quite a long time because I loved the idea of plant fibres and 100% biodegradability. It also has a pleasant, slightly woody smell, even after being used by the cats. The clumping behaviour is great too, and it lasts a long time.
The only downside, which has now really made me want to try a new one, is the "sand effect". Unfortunately, it gets tracked all over the flat. I constantly have to vacuum. And after a while, the fibres crumble, creating a lot of fine dust in the litter box, which spreads even more easily.

Finally found the perfect cat litter
I always thought I had the best cat litter, no question about it. But no, there really is something better, and that’s Cat’s Best ÖkoPlus cat litter. It smells like a forest and wood. No more annoying smell of cat pee, and the litter box only needs to be changed every 4-6 weeks (currently no outdoor access) without any odour. My new cat is also very happy with it, took to it immediately, and has practically turned his business into a ritual.
And the absolute best part: I simply dispose of the clumps in the toilet. The pee clumps dissolve into tiny particles of the biodegradable litter when they come into contact with water. It’s truly perfect! And for those who have a compost bin or heap, you can just toss it in there... it’s 100% plant-based, biodegradable, and nitrogen-rich, making it great for fertilising! ;-)
I can only recommend this litter, and when I read complaints about it spreading outside the litter box...? Well, I bought a special mat with unique fibres for a few euros, which catches the little crumbs, and I just shake them back into the box when cleaning. Besides, every other litter also leaves crumbs outside a closed box with a plexiglass door in my experience, and possibly dust too, whereas Cat’s Best ÖkoPlus cat litter doesn’t produce any dust at all! I’ve had thirty years of experience with cats.

Wonderful litter
Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
THE BEST WE'VE EVER HAD.
With our two indoor cats, switching to this litter has made a noticeable difference in terms of scent and weight.
We used to always buy a finely scented, expensive clumping litter for the cat toilets.
Unfortunately, our rubbish bin is now weighed, so we switched to this new cat litter.
This one can go "filled" into the green bin.
It’s wonderfully light with cat pee, smells pleasant, and doesn’t let any urine or "big" odours through.
Highly recommended!

It does absorb a lot, but... the whole flat is covered in litter!
I agree with the opinions regarding the absorbency of the litter: it lasts a very long time, but now I have to sweep three times a day and vacuum at least every other day because my "tigers" spread the little pellets everywhere—it’s enough to drive you mad. I will never buy it again. I’d rather spend more money and not have my flat so "crumbled up." And I even have a litter mat and a bath mat in front of the litter box in the bathroom. Unbelievable, this litter spreading.

Tomcat with kidney problems
My tomcat is now 18 years old, has kidney problems, which means he pees an awful lot. We've tried out loads of different types of litter, but in my opinion, this litter is the best on the market. Super absorbent and hardly any odour at all. Highly recommended!

Cats Best
I've struggled through countless types of litter... but this is the absolute winner among cat litters. Excellent clumping, no smell, and incredibly long-lasting. If you do the maths... a 40-litre bag lasted me 4 months. Truly unbelievable. Compare that to buying a 5-litre bag at Schlecker for, say, €4 every week... do the maths for four months! I've even tried Catsan... awful... dust, dust, dust, and smell. I can wholeheartedly recommend this one.

The best cat litter ever!!!
My 3 cats love it!
I’ve tried many litters. This is the best cat litter ever!! Our place doesn’t smell like cats! It clumps perfectly.
My cats are a bit fussy and demand that I clean the litter box immediately... OK! But the 40-litre bag lasts a whole month for three cats!!
Every cat litter tracks a bit, but this one doesn’t create dust and is perfect for allergy sufferers!!
And it’s definitely asbestos-free, which I doubt about some other brands. Disposal via the toilet is great too; at first, I was hesitant... But it works!!!
Plus, you don’t have to carry it, as it gets delivered... We’re definitely sticking with Cat’s Best Öko Plus!!

Once... but never again :O(
My furry friends don’t like it at all... When one cat used the toilet, the second one hesitated to go on it hmm... I have to say the smell stinks up the whole house. As for the clumping, it’s okay. That’s about it. It’s not what it promises—such a shame.

My cats and I love it!!!
I really can't understand the bad ratings. Maybe the cat litter has improved over the years?! It was recommended to me by friends and the animal shelter, and I have to admit, I was really sceptical. But now???
I think it smells acceptable. Like wood and cellulose remnants, really. Does cat litter need to smell like roses???
It absorbs urine immediately, which eliminates the hardened layer at the bottom of the litter box if, like me, you're working and can't clean the box straight away.
I also love that the litter can be disposed of via my own toilet.
I scoop up the clumps, wait a moment, flush thoroughly, and that's it.
At first, I was worried about blockages and so on, but by now, the practice has convinced me.
For me: the best cat litter ever. I've tested many and I'm sticking with this one!
