Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Overall, while it has its drawbacks, the litter remains a popular choice for its original benefits.

Smells very pleasant, highly absorbent, natural
The result in the litter tray was great; the litter produces very little dust, smells pleasantly natural, and effectively binds both odours and moisture. We've now started using Cats Best under the bedding for our rabbits as well; the outcome is fantastic—no moisture damage to the hutch, no unpleasant smells, and the rabbits seem to like it too. The best part: it can be easily disposed of on the compost heap. A clear 5 stars for this and a strong recommendation to buy!

Unparalleled!
I've been using this litter for my two indoor cats for 3 years now. Before that, I tried all sorts of other litters – this one is our winner and absolutely unbeatable: it doesn't smell at all and lasts ages!! We don't buy anything else anymore :)

Best ever!
I’ve let my British Shorthair tomcat try out quite a few brands, and I think Cat’s Best binds odours the best.
However, I’m deducting one star because it’s so lightweight that it always gets carried out of the litter box. But it’s manageable if you own a handheld vacuum cleaner ;-)

Best you can get ;-)
Value for money = TOP!!
The scent of wood, pleasant to touch – why should I subject myself and my cat to anything else?
And the best part, it’s significantly cheaper because it lasts much longer than regular litter.
I’m really grateful to have received this tip from a friend.

litter
We've been using Cat's Best for years. What's great about it is that it's odour-neutral. Unfortunately, it’s a bit dusty and doesn’t clump as well as it used to. We’ll probably switch to another product.

Dust and crumbs
We've been using this litter for years and have always sworn by it because it really doesn't smell at all. What has definitely gotten worse recently is the dust. The wood pellets break down into dust faster than they used to, so you have to change it completely more often. Not great for the price :-(

has really gone downhill
I've been using it for years; I rely on it to put the litter from my four tomcats on the compost. But unfortunately, it’s dusty, and it’s been dusty from day one. Not suitable at all for covered litter boxes.
I once contacted the company that makes the litter, but it didn’t help.

There’s nothing better.
My six tomcats love this litter. An excellent price-performance ratio, and everything stated on the packaging is not just promised but actually delivered. Five stars aren't enough...

Super practical, super affordable, simply brilliant
I bought this cat litter for my kitties for the first time last year, and the large bag lasted half a year, which is already absolutely amazing. On top of that, it's fantastic that the annoying task of throwing cat litter in the bin is finally over—just flush it down the toilet, and that's it!
My cats have loved this litter from day one, and that alone is reason enough to keep using it.
5 stars for this fantastic cat litter!

The best!
Neutralises odour and forms clumps, easy to dispose of. My cats and I love it! Lasts a very long time, and with regular cleaning, there's no odour at all for ages!

Price increased, quality decreased.
I've been using this litter (after a long search beforehand) for years. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated so much recently that we now have to look for an alternative. Meanwhile, the price keeps going up.
By the way, the manufacturer claims that you can dispose of the litter via the toilet. I wouldn't recommend that to anyone unless you fancy paying for an emergency plumber and dealing with the damage caused by a burst pipe. It sets in the pipes like concrete.

For me, there’s nothing better.
I've been using Cat's Best Öko cat litter for many years now, and I'm still absolutely thrilled with it. Of course, I've tried others from time to time, but NOOOO, only Cat's Best goes into my cats' litter boxes. My cats like it, and that's what matters—I'm willing to put up with a bit of dust for that. I've recommended it to many people, and now they only buy it too; they were impressed and still are. For me, Cat's Best is simply the best.

Top bedding
We’ve tried various types of litter, but this one is absolutely the best in terms of clumping behaviour and odour control. Unfortunately, it’s a bit dusty and our cats manage to scatter it up to a metre outside the litter box, but that’s pretty normal.

Light but everywhere
We really liked this litter as well. It’s lightweight and economical, and the price is right too. It’s biodegradable as well. Unfortunately, it ends up all over the house because the light crumbs stick to the cats’ paws and get spread everywhere.
For this reason, we reluctantly decided to stop using this litter.

Great
Super economical.
It lasts a really long time, and above all, it binds odours incredibly well – you can’t smell a thing.
Definitely recommend it!

Great litter
Clumps better than anything else we've tried so far. And the best part - it can go in the compost bin and doesn't have to be disposed of with general waste :o)

Affordable, powerful suction, eco-friendly
The litter is well accepted, absorbs excellently and clumps well, plus it's very economical and significantly cheaper than bentonite litter. Can be easily disposed of via the toilet. The only downside: the small crumbs tend to get carried into the flat.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
This is the best cat litter I’ve ever had!!! At first, my tomcat struggled a bit, as he wasn’t familiar with the scent of the forest (he always reacts to anything new with a “Yuck...!”). But once he realised that he no longer had wet paws after doing his business and there were no unpleasant odours, the spell was broken. Now he loves it! And he keeps showing his appreciation with cuddles and kisses.
Then came the renovation of the residential building – an absolute nightmare for both of us! Dirt, noise, loads of workmen, pure chaos! Would he still accept the litter? He did, even when I, overwhelmed by stress and in poor health, completely lost track of time. When I suddenly realised that I hadn’t even fully changed the litter, eight weeks had passed! And the packaging only recommended a period of four to six weeks! If that’s not top-notch litter...!!! And the few crumbs he scatters around the bathroom with his paws are easy to clean up with the cordless sweeper.
Even though it can’t officially be rated this way: 8 stars, plus two extra for the excellent packaging and fast delivery.
By the way: The clumps can be easily disposed of in the toilet. Plus, the litter is lightweight, which means that even I, who can barely carry anything anymore, can manage to take the used litter to the organic waste bin myself.

Highly recommended
I’ve been using this cat litter for about 4 years now and I’m very satisfied with it.
It produces relatively little dust, which means you can leave the litter in the cat toilet for 4 weeks without any issues before completely changing it. However, a particularly great advantage, in my opinion, is that you can dispose of the used litter either via the compost or the household toilet, so you don’t have a smelly litter bin standing around anywhere!

The "naturally" scented bedding
I’ve tried many types of cat litter; the others were terribly dusty, didn’t clump properly, or stuck to the bottom of the litter tray. Not with Cat’s Best Öko Plus, which initially wasn’t exactly welcomed with open arms by my three cats. But now, it’s an absolute hit!
