Cat's Best Original Cat Litter

We have particularly awkward house cats, who have 4 litter trays. Previously we'd used a wood pellet litter, but found we were going through a bag every other day. We initially balked at the price of Cat's Best Oko Plus Cat litter, but decided to give it a try. The cats are happy to use it, the clumping properties are excellent, which means unused litter lasts for ages, plus it can be flushed down the loo. It doesn't smell despite repeat uses, and works out much much cheaper in the long run. Would highly recommend!

This litter is brilliant, it was recommended to me. It clumps well for easy removal, just top up when necessary, my cats like it quite thick and sanitise weekly. Does not stick to cats long fur, bit messy on floor but thats to be expected. I don't flush it down the toilet..

This is the best Cat Litter I have ever used for my cat...and I have tried many. It does what it says on the pack and keeps odours to a minimum and the price is excellent from Zooplus.

I have tried a number of types of cat's litter and this is definitely the best, most eco-friendly as well! I found wood pellets difficult to dispose of in an eco manner; the idea was to put on the compost heap (having flushed any waste down the toilet) but this just resulted in a colony of rats taking up residence! I also tended to have saw-dust all over the house, and had to change the litter every couple of days. I was going to try the World's Best Cat Litter made from whole kernel corn but the mice (in the garage) beat me to it obviously thinking it tasty to eat! However, I haven't had the same problems with Cat's Best Oko Plus, and as the pellets can remain in the tray for up to 6 weeks with occasional top ups when the level goes down with removal of waste, it is super economical as well. The granuals do tend to come out the box on the cat's feet, but no where near as bad as the wood pellets. The granuals clump really well, leading to easy removal of waste into the toilet. In the last few days before I clean out the litter boxes properly I let the amount of litter run down, so I am only disposing of a small amount of litter into the rubbish bin (bagged up of course!). Excellent stuff!

Having looked after cats for many years and in that time I have tried lots of different types of cat litter - this is by far is the best I have used. I have 2 cats at the moment and both like using the litter, which is a must, and when they have used it, the clumping action makes it so easy to clean and therefore very economical. I have recommended it to friends and family and once tried they will use nothing else.

The fact that this litter can be flushed makes life so much easier, my litter tray is kept by the bathroom so all I need to do is scoop and flush whenever my cat uses it, Keeps smell down and saves on having to clean whole tray out as often

This is by far my favorite litter I've ever used. We have two cats and two boxes; I scoop the litter every 1-2 days and flush down the toilet. The clumps are slightly delicate, but they work. The big difference is, I only change the whole boxes about once a month--and there is no smell! (I have had catless friends come to my house and comment on the fact that "people who have cats usually have smelly houses, and you don't".) Scoop carefuly, top up a little if needed, and this is a long-lasting, clean-smelling cat litter solution.

Our kitties are very sensitive to earth and crystal based cat litters, so when I found this natural, biodegradable and sustainable litter at a much more reasonable price than some of the more expensive competitors, I decided to test it. They immediately took to it and consistently go in the litter tray when before this was a hit and miss affair! They have used it for about two years now. The tracking of litter around the house is much lower and it is easy to clear up as it clumps into sizes that can easily be retrieved. It is also odor absorbent but only if the cats remember to bury their deposits! Very good value and does the job :)

This is great litter. Clumps easily to scoop out. Does not smell. Lasts ages without having to change litter.

This has to be the best cat litter we have tried. Cheaper litters are a complete waste of money. We have two cats who share a tray and a 40 litre bag lasts us exactly 12 weeks, which works out at £2 a week, so it's not expensive at all. It forms a complete ball of urine which is so easy to just scoop out, and covers up lingering smells too, I've found the secret is too have a good 4 inches of litter in the tray so the urine doesn't reach the bottom when they go for a pee, so this keeps the litter underneath dry, (no soggy mess at the bottom of tray as with other litters). I do a scoop of the tray 3 times a day which helps keep things fresh, sanitise once a week and top up as required, my cats are happy, so we are happy, it does track about the floor near the tray, but that's what a dust pan and brush are for (get a long handled one so no bending). Certainly will be sticking with this litter.

I ve used cheaper cat litters in the past and found they work out dearer in the end. No smell off litter tray with this litter

This litter is the best I've ever used and I've used quite a few!! It clumps well as long as your cat is healthy!! I.e. One of mine had bladder crystals so it wasn't so good then due to the small quantities of urine. He is fixed now and this litter is brilliant as I can tell imediately if he is having any difficulty. The only negative is that they do tend to throw it out of the litter box but that is a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent product. Highly recommend it.

Wanted to find a cat litter that was environmentally friendly, and also easy to clean from the tray. Previously were using a supermarket own brand word pellet style. Was perfectly happy with it but thought would try something new. Improvement is that rather than becoming loose, damp wood dust, this does form clumps - much easier to remove! There is a little bit of tracking, but we have hardwood floors, and it's day to sweep a few grains up. Our cats are both allowed out during the day, so the litter tray is mostly used at night. However, one appears to like this litter so much has used it twice in two day (since we had it) when she had access to the outdoors. I took that as an endorsement :-)

I think this litter is fantastic and wouldn't use anything else, there's no smell from the tray and although it tracks a little bit I don't find it a problem, maybe as I have wooden floors so it can be swept up easily. It lasts for ages too. But please be careful of the claims that you can flush it!! I used to flush the clumps down the loo but recently had a nasty blockage and had to pay a big bill to get it cleared. The man informed me it was most likely due to the litter and not to do this again! took about 3 years for this to happen but still it was a hassle and expense I could have done without.

I clean clumps out as soon as I see them and have had no residual smells. This is the first litter I can say that about!! The litter is soft and I like the fact it's biodegradable. It does track a little but on my wooden floors that is easily swept up and is preferable to gritty particles getting trodden in.

10/10 Better at controlling odour than odour control litters, no dust, clumps amazingly, lasts for absolutely ages because you just remove the muck with minimal litter. The tracking is manageable and worth it for all the good this litter brings. The price is amazing for how long you get from it, I won't use anything else now.

I have wooden floors and I found the grittier litters out there were slowly scratching the floors (when moving tray to clean and also feeling the small grit below my feet when walking by.) I have a kitty litter disposal system so I have to have a clumping cat litter. This is THE best clumping litter I have found so far. It clumps the urine very well, coats the solids and absorbs the odours remarkably well. It is lightweight to clean out with minimal waste. We have two indoor cats and yes, some is transferred by their paws to the surrounding floor but it does not scratch the wooden floor and has a soft, sponge like texture. We used to have a plug in air freshner close by to help with odours but this is no longer necessary. For us, this is our best discovery so far. The real bonus is......it last so long! We clean the tray of deposits, three to four times per day. We started with a 30L size bag four weeks ago and we still have a third of a bag left. It appears expensive but you really do see the saving. We were buying a 5L bag of cheaper cat litter £6 per bag) every 5-6 days. (Approx' 5-6 bags per month...costing around £30-36. We know we still have around another two weeks worth of this litter left. Buy cheap, you buy twice! Highly recommended.

was recommended this litter by a friend who has 10 cats (i only have 2) it is really great, lasts forever and the clumping of the pee is brilliant. One tip I was also given is to make sure you fill the trays quite full (using a deep tray) I was cautious at first but you dont waste any so the whole tray lasts for ages, the deeper the litter the better the pee clumps into little jelly balls. Sooo easy to deal with you just flush down the loo (or drain as i have trays outside as well).. highly recommended. I have long haired cats so the litter does track a little but no more than the wooden pellets that I was previously using. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

It's true, this is our first pack, but we're happy with it. Our kitty used to do his business on paper towels, but he quickly took to this litter. It's good for keeping the litter box tidy every day and it does a great job masking odours.

It's true that it's more expensive than other litters, but for me it's worth it. It's perfect. It doesn't smell bad. My cat loves it. The dust doesn't get up her nose, since it doesn't release any.

We've been using this cat litter for years, and it's the best we've tried. It doesn't make a mess like others, does a good job absorbing odours, and you can flush it down the toilet.

Over the years, I’ve searched for the best cat litter. Without chemical pellets or added scents, because cats are very sensitive to smells and things that aren’t natural. This litter absorbs pee well (and forms a big clump), so it’s really easy to clean. It’s also easy to tidy up around the litter box since it doesn’t have tiny pellets. The smell isn’t bothersome either. I can recommend it to everyone!

The litter is really good for my senior cats, for me it's the cheapest and lightweight. I don't recommend flushing it down the toilet because it takes a lot of water to do so. We need to save water.

I buy this litter because it clumps well and, most importantly, doesn’t raise any dust. Just a heads up: it expands when it gets wet or when the cat pees, so your kitty might get a fright at first, but they get used to it after a while. I love that Zooplus has the 17l pack, it saves me a good bit. Tip: get yourself a scoop for coarse grains so you don’t waste so much litter.

I've been using it ever since I got cats. Of course, I've tried other types of litter too. Nothing compares to Best Cat's.

Since I bought this plant-based litter, I've saved quite a bit of money on it. It lasts longer, is easier to manage, doesn't smell or stain... and you can dispose of clumping, 100% plant-based biodegradable litter either down the toilet or in the organic waste bin.

We've been using it for 5 years and we're very happy with it (we have 2 cats) – the quality, price, and durability are outstanding. It's true that it leaves some dust and the cats spread it around a bit, but honestly, anything else we've tried ended up being dragged all over the house anyway.

Cats Best is by far the best eco litter, even though some batches are definitely dustier than others. All my cats like it and it lasts a long time; as a clumping litter, it's really well suited.

For me, there’s no better cat litter! I’ve been using Cat’s Best for about 9½ years and I’m absolutely delighted with it. It hardly creates any dust, locks in smells brilliantly, and doesn’t damage the litter tray. With cheap litter, the tray’s bottom would go dull after just half a year. If you factor in how much longer Cat’s Best lasts, it’s not really much more expensive. And most importantly: you walk in the door and you don’t immediately smell the litter tray. 😄 Highly recommended! 🐱❤️

We once tried an alternative product, also from Cat's Best, in pellet form. But this Cat's Best Original is simply the best cat litter. It smells like fresh wood. It's super absorbent, the clumps are easy to remove from the rest of the litter and don't smell in the collection bin. Even with two cats, the litter box only needs a thorough clean every four weeks. Economical despite the price.

Soft and light, it makes a ball that's easy to throw in the toilet.
