This UK-made cat litter is a hit for its eco-friendly and biodegradable nature, with many praising its ease of use and minimal odour. It's soft on paws, economical, and great for composting. While some find it messy, others appreciate its safety and lack of dust. However, the formula change has disappointed a few, and it's not ideal for long-haired breeds due to tracking. Overall, it's a popular choice for its environmental benefits and effectiveness.

Poor quality used to be very good
We have only ever used this litter since we got our cat. She is 7 years old now. My most recent purchase though has proved terrible quality. When questioned I was told they have improved the product! I disagree it’s very soft and very dusty. We have just had to treat my cat for conjunctivitis which we don’t know was caused by the dust but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was. Going to have to find a replacement product which she is happy with. Just hope I can find one!

Production has been changed
I’ve been using this litter for my cats for the past 5 years without issues. They have recently changed it : At FibreCycle we are always looking for ways to make our products better. We recently made a slight change to our Breeder Celect pellets, and they are now slightly flatter. This gives the pellet more surface area, which can assist with absorbency and odour control.
It’s not pellets but mush and bits of paper track all over the house. I’m constantly finding small pieces. Avoid.

Its Changed
This has changed with no warning on website or packaging.
Its now dustier & travels on acts paws all over the house.

No longer any good.
I always bought this litter but they have recently changed it from a pellet to smaller flat bits and it no longer absorbs as before, plus it tracks more. I will not buy this anymore unless they go back to how it used to be. I have changed to a different litter which is better.

Its Changed
I have used this for 10+ years then all of a sudden without notice on packaging or website they changed the product from pellets to the same as their Back 2 Nature small pet bedding.
Its now dustier & smaller no go as a cat litter.
I wont be buying it anymore.

Product has changed
This used to be its own type of pelletised product but they have now changed it with no waring on the packaging on on the manufacturers website.
its the same as the manufactures small animal bedding called 'Back to Nature' .
Its rubbish as a cat litter - too small & dusty - don't buy it & I say this after the previous 10 years of happy use :(

Used to be good but not anymore
Having used this for 6 years, recently found out the process has changed and it is no longer as absorbant, it tracks more, no odour control and using double due to the size of the pellets being made smaller.

Product has changed
Been using this product for my girls for 6 years now and it was great, but they have recently changed the product. It isn't pellet form anymore, it seems to be some kind of shavings-style litter, and it's absolutely awful. I used to be able to go a week without a full change (just scooping out the dirt and doing light refills) but now the litter tray stinks after 2-3 days despite how much I scoop it. Also very lightweight now so it tracks everywhere. Such a shame, I won't be buying anymore

I would be interested to hear from anybody else
Who has been using this litter.
And now finds it’s nothing but paper dust that goes everywhere I’ve been using it for some years and it was fine but now thebags are just full of horrible paper dust.

Are used to be a good litter
Use this Litter for several years. They are looking for a different litter to use.
The bag is full of nothing but dust tiny little bits of paper that are so light and get Everywhere. The quality has gone down the toilet it’s now an awful Litter

New formulation is terrible!
We've used this product for nearly 10 years and loved it up until they recently changed how it was manufactured. It now falls apart and absorbancy is just awful. Time to find a new product.

New formula, not good.
Having used Breeder Celect for years with no issues, they decide to alter it. WHY? If it's not broke don't fix it!!! It used to be the best but now the pellets are half the size, it tracks, it doesn't keep odour under control and you end up using more of it. This said, Zooplus have been brilliant as always. Shame about the litter.

Used to be good but not now!
I have been using this for 5 years without any problems but the last 2 bags have been different. The paper chunks are smaller and not so absorbant and it is tracking. Also the bags are heavier than previously so I don't know what the makers have done but I will have to change to a different brand.

Great value...
...But quite pungent after about 5 days of use with 2 young female cats.

Great product
I mix this with Catsan and find it meets my two cats needs.
Excellent product!
I have 3 long-haired cats with a total of 5. This litter doesn't congeal on their bums like the fine grained clumping litter does. (I have had to cut away huge amounts of fur when using that type of litter)
Regular clay litter just plain stinks, the other lightweight litters get caught up in the feet and fur, and wood pellets just disintegrate and track everywhere!
The smell from this litter is negligible and I only need to sweep up the immediate area around the litter tray.
Perfect!
Paper cat litter
I’m delighted with this cat litter . We used wood pellets before and dust tracked , floated in the air when cleaning out and had a smell to it . This paper litter has no smell or powder . We find we use less , as there’s no powder to sift and is easier to clean out. A bit gets flicked out as our cat digs but it’s easily picked up . Would recommend .

Brilliant
And I've tried no end of cat litters for my british shorthair girls and their kittens..great absorption..no smells coming from the tray and it also doesn't all get stuck to their feet so not alot of tracking
