This UK-made cat litter is a hit for its eco-friendly and biodegradable nature, with many praising its ease of use and minimal odour. It's soft on paws, economical, and great for composting. While some find it messy, others appreciate its safety and lack of dust. However, the formula change has disappointed a few, and it's not ideal for long-haired breeds due to tracking. Overall, it's a popular choice for its environmental benefits and effectiveness.

The best
I have 8 cats and been using breeders select for a long time. I am really happy with the product. It is a recycled material and can be used for the compost. It does not contain any nasty chemicals which causes cancer and does not produce any dust. It is very safe. Yes it does not clump etc as it is a pressed paper. But for me safety is more important. I recommend this product to anyone.
Worst cat litter I've ever used
Pretty much useless for it's intended purpose. It's very light, so the slightest movement sends it shooting all over the floor. It sticks to my cats fur, so need to brush it out. It doesn't really absorb any urine, so we have resorted to putting a puppy pads at the bottom of the litter tray. It doesn't clump, so very difficult to clean out soiled litter. On top of that it's expensive.
Only bought as recommended by the vet after surgery, but will be aiming to return.

Don't Waste Your Money
I can't believe how bad this litter is. The original, the first Breeder Celect Paper litter already wasn't great but that someone makes money out of this is unbelievable. The paper litter falls apart into tiny pieces which I have everywhere in my home, even in my bed. The litter smells awful even though I am scooping wet litter out straight away. I have gone back to using paper litter from a different company which has long sticks of very hard pressed paper and doesn't stink.
Great product
Product is great cannot fault it. However the price is a little expensive so I try and only buy when on offer, less than £12 a 30l bag.

Amazing product
My cat loves the product and the feel of it. The crushed pellets seem to work better and no tracking.

Happy
I prefer paper litter rather than clay (due to dust) my cats are happy with this and clumps together with their waste. Have to spot clean a bit more with paper but would do this anyway. Great price and bag lasts 6 weeks
Love it
I find whatever litter I use it gets kicked out of the tray and this paper one is so much easier to sweep up after. I use a littler freshener powder with it so haven’t noticed odour control issues independently. Also like that it’s paper based. It doesn’t clump but again I tried a clay clumping one and it wasn’t my preference at all.

Awful
Not good for Maine Coon cats. The litter falls apart into dust and the dust / tiny little pieces is everywhere even in my bed. It used to be good. The other paper litter from Breeder Celect is far too expensive.
Sneaky peaky
This cat litter used to be much better… but they’ve changed the formula and made the original now their premium product, hoping nobody would notice!!
Fantastic product
Recommended to get paper based litter, so I chose this brand, and I'm glad I did.It absorbs well, abit messy when cats flick when in a hurry.
This is much better than some other top brands, and better than clay based which makes a mess.
Highly recommend and so easy t clean, and helps environment.

Brilliant litter
I have bought thi for years. Partly because it's recycled and partly because my cat does dirty protests if I put down any other litter than this one!

Has It Changed Again?
I’ve read all the negative reviews but only after using this product for a few months. I’ve not experienced any problems and, believe me, my darling Jezebel would be very quick to complain. Perhaps the manufacturers took the negative reviews on board and did something about it?

Not worth that money. Wooden pellets smell better and much cheaper.
To expensive.

Excellent
Excellent texture for mother cat and kittens.Much better than the clay one. This is eco friendly.

Dreadful stuff!
Bought to continue breeder's litter for new kittens. Zero odour control and impossible to remove all used litter as it doesn't clump at all. Have transitioned kittens successfully to Greenwoods plant based, flushable litter, thankfully.

Breeder Celect
I find this to be excellent for my kittens. No dust and easy to use.

Not what it used to be
I’ve used this litter for over 5 years now, but they have changed the litter, the pellets are smaller and just become soaking wet, having to change the litter tray every 2 days at least. Prices have gone up too.
No longer as good
I always used to buy this , but since they have started crushing to pellets its not as absorbent and makes a mess so I have changed to cats best litter
