I'm not going to risk re-ordering this after learning about the changes to the product. We only use a litter tray occasionally and this was by far the best litter -- for the environment too. How disappointing.

Now I understand the bad reviews! I had obviously been lucky until know. Both of my cats are now peeing on the floor next to the trays! Or go in the tray and jump out like there are hot coals without burying the waste. Regret Breeder Celect’s changes.

Unfortunately will not be using anymore. As others have experience bits of hard sharp plastic in it. Also I found mold. I use this for my cats but also my ferrets. Spent hours going through each bag to find all plastic pieces as the ferrets will eat it. Last order my ferrets had allergic reactions to it. Change it back to how it was. Seems the inflation has created excuses for poor standards! This is not safe for animals!!!

Used to be the absolute best.My cat has ery sensitive eyes when it comes to dust,smells and amonia.This litter really suited her but now her eyes are runny again and the litter is tracking badly.Have to put a puppy pad in tray with litter on top which really helps with absorption and litter lasts longer but it hasn't solved the problem of tracking.Plus the price has been increasing.May as well use healer stuff again but would definitely stay with this if they change it back

Found the change of product hard to deal with as it tracked everywhere. Have found that if you mix equally some wooden pellet type litter along with this new version of Breeder Celect it seems to remain in the litter tray.

I hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and changes it back to how it used to be or I will no longer be able to purchase this. Extremely disappointed! The litter is tiny and flat, no longer absorbent and tracks every where. I've purchased this litter for a number of years and have actually been thinking lately it's been rubbish and flat and wondering why it's all over the house. I thought I was getting faulty batches until I read the reviews here! CHANGE IT BACK!

My cat love it now training on the toilet with that and it is works

I have used this product for 7 years and always been happy with it . I have just come across the new pellets and what a disappointment. More like dust and off bits of the old pellets. It tracks its dusty and absolutely rubbish . What is the real reason for changing the pellets? It was perfectly good before so it has to be cheaper for the manufacturer. There was no indication it had changed, nothing on the package I thought I'd got a duff pack . I won't be buying this again.

I now only use paper and wood litter. Aside from environmentally better but also smells better, no dust, paper is super light and lasts longer than clay somehow. Will buy repeatedly.

I have used this product for 10 years, and when it changed, I noticed how much more mess it makes, it’s little bits are everywhere and that includes being stuck in my cats bushy tail, this should definitely be put back to the way it was, why change what’s not broken

This USED to be the best litter out but the company have changed it. Now it is dusty, flat, non absorbant and you end up using more. Maybe that's why they changed it! So you end up buying more.

I have been using this brand of litter ever since I got my Maine Coon 4 years ago and have never had a problem with it. I recently ordered another 6 x 30l Bags (5 months supply normally) and this batch is completely different. It is the dustiest litter I have ever used which produces a distinct cloud of dust when pouring for the bag into the litter tray (at last I found a use for the blue masks!!). The pellets are smaller and no where near as absorbent as previous and the tracking is really bad.

Why change something that worked??

I’ve used this over 10 years still but it but! It’s got terrible used to be no bits but bits go everywhere the litter is no where like it used to. E and started back early in 2022 i but 9 bags or more a time. Please Greg it.back to how it used to be.

I have used the products for the last 10 years without fail. It used to be the best litter. Since December 2022, they products have become flat, small and easily tracked everywhere. I thought I had a bad batch so once I finished using the 3 x30l , I bought another 3 in February and they are just as bad! Totally waste of money. They really racked everywhere and Don not absorb as they used to be. Extremely disappointing!

I am due to reorder my usual 120l of Breeder Celect but reluctant having read the very persuasive reviews. I am now seeking an alternative. 'If it aint broke don't fix it' My rating is for pre-change product.

This litter no longer works as it used to. The pieces are smaller and less dense, so now the cats wee soaks into the littler; runs right through, soaking into the newspaper lining and leaving puddles underneath. The smaller pieces are getting stuck in my cat's paws so get tracked around the house. Worryingly, she has developed a runny eye so something is irritating it. The only change in her care and welfare routine is this litter. I will not be buying it again.

Having used this for almost 7 years the recent change is disappointing to say the least. From proper paper pellets it's been changed to small, flat dusty bits of paper which tracks everywhere. Whilst I've not found any decrease in absorbency, I get through loads more because I have to use more to full the trays and so much is wasted. The increased dust is also not good for my cat who has asthma. Time to look for an alternative as I won't be buying this again

I have rigidly used this cat litter for years but it has recently changed and not for the better. Gone from hard paper pellets to bits of paper which spread all over the house, get soaked quickly and I have started using twice as much but not anymore as they have now lost another customer.

I got sick of my cat trampling sawdust throughout the house with the wood based litters. This was cheap and good as paper pellets. I agree they have changed them and they aren’t as absorbent as quick. So you are sometimes left with a pee puddle for a while. I’m still staying with them
