It seems like reviews depends on if your cat is a persistent biter. Our cat has never tried to bite through the net so it's been brilliant and sturdy. It has held up for over a year and a half I have also moved the net tugging it from the plants and I have only found one hole in about 10+m worth of net over the year.

But our little new furry kids can bite straight through this net – we absolutely need to replace the net for safety reasons.

Very sturdy nets, even where snow and freezing rain pass through easily, without sagging.

The colour scheme did not detract from the lovely view. My cat really liked it, very easy to install.

We’ve repurposed it a bit and are amazed by the robustness of the material. We’re using it as personal protection in the drone sector, where things can quickly hit at 80 km/h with sharp propellers. So far, it has absorbed quite a bit without sustaining any damage. Top-notch material.

Ordered this as was supposed to be cat safe. It is not wire resistant and definitely not cat bite safe. My cat has already bitten through as she loves plastic within space of 10 minutes.

I am very satisfied with the net; it delivers what it promises. Sure, you might spot the odd small knot that looks slightly frayed, but it doesn’t affect the stability of the net. Everything you need in terms of accessories is included (drilling is required), though clamp rods are, of course, not included. In my opinion, it’s a great product, and the price-performance ratio is truly excellent.

The net is simply brilliant, durable (it's been reliably hanging outside on the balcony for 2 years now), and the size fits perfectly. We secured it well with additional nails and cords, and it definitely delivers on its promises. Against the sun, it's not too noticeable and doesn't obstruct the view much. Our cats chewed on it a few times at the beginning, and the net held up to that too, so everything's spot on!

Super good, also top-quality material. Very fiddly to put on by yourself, but it went very quickly in the end. I highly recommend it!

My cat is very active. On one hand, it's catching flies, and on the other, it's using the cat net as a hammock. It holds up brilliantly :). We are extremely satisfied with it.

We attached the net across the entire width of the balcony using the Trixie telescopic pole... as described, NOT taut. Our Shadow must have been Batman in a previous life; at night, he jumps from the cat house with his front legs spread wide ("where are my wing membranes?") over 2 metres into the net and just hangs there... all because he wanted to chase a moth. Good for the moth, he can't climb any higher. Well, trial and error beats theory ;)

We bought this cat net to allow our tomcat to sit on the windowsill with the window open. Unfortunately, this net is not suitable for that purpose, as the threads can be easily chewed through by cats, which our tomcat managed to do in no time. Ideally, a net with wire reinforcement would be better. Not recommended for purchase.

I set up the cat net properly. My little one managed to bite a hole in it within minutes when I wasn’t looking. Such a shame, as the setup was tricky due to the location, and replacing it is quite a hassle for me.

The net serves its purpose. I had expected more from the "wire reinforcement". Effectively, it’s just a regular net made of sturdy mesh fabric.

The net is fantastic – it arrived without a single flaw, is sturdily made and neatly tied. The size was perfect. Definitely recommend buying!

I have been using this Trixie cat safety net with wiring since 2013 (9 years). When my second tomcat joined the household, he chewed through one spot, but I was able to patch it up very well. Today, I checked the net (once a year) and realised I could do with a new one. Naturally, I ordered the Trixie cat safety net with wiring again.
