Smilla cat food receives mixed reviews from customers. Many cats enjoy the taste, preferring beef and rabbit flavors, though some are less keen on chicken due to its texture. The food is praised for high meat content and being grain-free, offering a healthier option. However, some cats reject certain flavors, notably rabbit, and the texture is sometimes described as paste-like with visible fat. Overall, Smilla is considered a good quality, affordable choice for many pet owners.

Could be on to a winner here.
My 12 y/o Red Tabby is a fuss pot , having tried many foods from ZP and he doesn't touch them. He is a bit of a junk food eater and likes his felix and sheba.
Tried him on the Sterilised pouches and he so far has eaten it with glee, so may now need to try the 200g tins as a taster to see if I can wean him off the junk.

A good option, and the added DL-methionine & L-carnitine makes it a bit different.
For a pouch food, with no added grains&sugar this is good value. Yes, the rabbit smells quite strong but my 1 year old likes rabbit in general so its not left sitting around a long time smelling! More variety than 3 flavoues would be a plus as hes not crazy about beef and its not different with this product (though he ate them). The texture not as dry as most pates. Wouldnt use as a main food due to unclear amount of by-products but a good occasional/"cheaper but still quality food" option.

Great food but Rabbit not a hit with 4 cats
So they prefer Smilla pouches to the tins (when do cats ever prefer tins that are more cost effective?!) but they don't like the rabbit flavour so it's too expensive to buy this for the other 2 flavours which is disappointing as the beef goes down like I've given them a plate of fillet steak!

Single flavour please
Excellent food but rabbit variety is a serious no no! Separating the flavours gives more personalised choice and a saving of cash.

Great food
Smells great but sadly my cat is not fond of the rabbit variety. Every other flavour gets woofed down with no probs :)
