Inconsistent Quality

I notice an irregular quality for this product. Some batches are good and my cat eats them without any problem; some batches are bad and my cat rejects them. I can even smell the difference when I open the pouch. Is it a production problem? A storage problem at the manufacturer or at Zooplus? Or is it related to the heatwaves?
