animonda Carny Kitten 12 x 200g

My kitten was on this food when i got her from her breeder. She loved the variety of flavours, she definitely enjoyed eating it. The last couple of times I’ve ordered, I’ve noticed she is leaving so much more in her bowl, it’s almost a waste. I don’t know if there’s been bad batches of the food but sometimes she just point blank refuses to eat it. I’m unsure if she’s just fussy or it’s just the food itself… not sure I will be reordering again.

My mixed breed short hair who usually eats almost anything (she can sometimes turn her nose up at jellied foods) just could not get on with this. She liked the green one a little bit, but none of the others. It's a shame because animonda carny have a great reputation for good quality cat food. My girl just doesn't like it. As for the food itself, it doesn't have a bad smell, the cans are a good size and storing these is fantastic. The price is good too.

I order two tray mix food and coming one mix and one all tray with one flavour

My two kittens didn't rejoice when I served them this food. It seemed quite oily and fat, with a lot of liquid in the tins. Also, the amount is quite big and it tended to darken and get smelly. There were some leftovers in both bowls, so that made me think that it was not their favourite food - otherwise, they tend to lick the bowls and ask for more soon after the first portion has been served!

My kitten loved the sachets so as he’s getting bigger I decided to buy tins this time around. Well he will not touch the food. Also the tins seem over full and are leaking at the seals, the labels are sticky. So luckily I only bought 12 cans. I had quite a few sachets as I had ordered more to get me past Xmas. Shall keep buying the sachets.

Both my Siamese and my Havana started off on this wet food but my Siamese has been sick a few times in the last week after opening the most recent batch. I’m wondering if there’s inconsistencies in the batches? My Havana is fine with it however . The most recent type was the poultry cocktail which doesn’t agree with my Siamese at all. She likes to eat it but is vomiting it back within 5 mins of eating it .... Never had an issue with it until now.

Might be great for some cats, but does not seem to agree with my boy's tummy (lots of gas and slightly runny poo)....it's a shame! I really wanted to like it.

Our 3 kittens liked the food, but it doesn't seem to agree with all of their stomachs so well as other foods - one of them ends up with runny poo after eating this.

Maybe the ingredients are better than supermarket food, but it didn’t look appealing and the cat ate a little bit reluctantly and left the rest :/

The food contains some coarser pieces, but I don't mind that. My kitten is quite picky with pâté, but he ate all of this food. His stool also smells less strong than with other brands from the supermarket or pet shop. So far, I'm satisfied, but I still want to try a few other brands to compare.

I have two cats, one is pickier but the other eats anything. When I put this food in their bowl, they eat it, but they never finish it like they do with other foods. Sometimes they come back to the bowl hours later when they're hungry and eat what's left. I won't be buying this again.

She ate it about twice. It's chicken, so she doesn't eat much at once, so I give her 1-2 spoonfuls every few hours. After a few hours, it started to smell really bad, even in the fridge, and she didn't want to eat it anymore at all. Neither she nor I like the smell. I wouldn't know how to describe it, just something spoiled.

The first time, my Maine Coon ate it with appetite, but with every subsequent attempt to give him the pâté, he just turned up his nose at it.

I tried a can and my cat only took a couple of bites and didn’t want any more. The contents look good, smell good, even after a few hours the food still smelled nice in the bowl, so I don’t know why she didn’t want it. Lately, my cat only accepts Sheba.
