I'm surprised at the bad reviews. I don't know if the composition has changed over the years, as a lot of the reviews are quite old. They have nets if you order them, if not, they come loose in a cardboard box (as I ordered them). Rain or crumbliness has not been an issue. Birds like them more than other brands. The only issue I have is the size, I don't have that much space for such a big box. One half the size would be ideal

I have always bought these fat balls from Zooplus, however, in the colder months they have arrived harder which is normal since they have been in a warehouse/storage. I therefore put a few in a bowl and microwave them for a minute or so, then they become softer and I the birds can eat them more easily, since many are unable to eat the fat balls when hard. I even break them in my bird feeder stand also after microwaving them.

After reading the reviews were some said without nets some were smashed on delivery. I decided to get them in nets, all were in one piece but the net was not sealed enough to hang on a hook without breaking, so my partner take the net off. as he lifted the net of the ball the ball exploded and the whole kitchen fall was covered, learned to leave the net on. All birds loved them will get again .

The product is okay, but unfortunately the dumplings have become much smaller – at least in the last delivery. I hope that changes again.

The birds in my garden love them and are always happy when I put out new ones. Because there’s no extra packaging or nets used, some do arrive a bit damaged, but they’re more sustainable and create less waste (and can still be fed to the birds without any problem).

- I had previously ordered from Zoolini and received my order, but that delivery arrived as one big lump. - I offered the 100 pieces I ordered from Zooplus to the little songbirds, and they really love these fat balls. - We have nuthatches, starlings, tits, sparrows, finches, hawfinches, goldfinches, and many other little birds. - I feed up to 12 fat balls a day, and everything gets eaten up. Life with the little songbirds can be so different.

Good value for money They hold up well when hung Little to no waste I recommend them, they make the birds happy, especially the tits
