Terrible
Fat balls are so hard that even the woodpeckers struggle to get into them. Breaking them apart reveals they’re nearly all fat, with hardly any seeds. Even the squirrels won’t touch them. Complete waste of money

Fat balls should have animal fat.. its proven seed oils are not good for animals..

Each of the balls is wrapped in plastic mesh. A nightmare for the environment and a danger to birds who can get their claws caught. Won’t be buying again.

Loved by sparrows
The sparrows will eat anything, and they eat these fat balls happily, but tits and other wild birds in my garden do not touch them.

I ordered these fat balls for the first time and unfortunately, I won’t be doing it again. I can hardly see any seeds, it’s almost all fat. Maybe that’s to be expected at this price. The birds, who usually fight over fat balls so I have to refill them every other day, are ignoring these ones. The current fat ball has been hanging in the repurposed whisk for almost a week now. I’ll try melting them down and adding more seeds, otherwise it would be a waste.

Lots of breakage and the weight is incorrect
The quality of these fat balls is rather poor. There's a lot of breakage and crumbs that can't be fed as balls. Because of this bad quality, I weighed them for the first time. The box says 9 kg, but there were actually only 8.5 kg inside! I've had much better feed before! :-(
