My dog wouldn't eat it
My dog who is on a plant based diet and never refused any other plant based kibble would not eat this. Also discovered it contains leak which is poisonous to dogs

Our absolute go-to dry food
We feed fresh food, but this is a great option for training and enrichment purposes daily. The dogs love it and it is super gentle on their digestion. I suspect anyone who's dog has a negative reaction to this food, already has an undiagnosed digestive issue/intolerance. Bonus: no plastic!

Terrible, gave my dog diarrhoea
As above, seems poor quality. Ordered this as the veggiedog brand was out of stock (which my dog lives and has no problems with)
Thus product gave my dog awful tummy upset. Have contacted to ask for a refund as food is of no use to me.

great mix of veg (and not just potato)
I am happy that I finally found dry dog food based on mix of fantastic veg and not just potato or grains. This food is very heavy in weight so daily portion look small in compare with common grain based kibble - my dog ate his daily ration and wanted more , so I am now soaking it in hot water and make a paste so my dog gets full bowl of food that he is happy to eat it. I am still using wet meaty food as not sure if I want vegan dog..I will keep buying this food

i was looking for dog food that is not based on potato or grains.. Lukullus veggie has great range of fantastic veg and fruit in it plus my dog likes the taste

Undecided
Really hoped this food would make a difference to my 15 year old toy poodle, however even slowly transitioning her she has done nothing but vomit continuously, she has health issues and I really hoped the health benefits of this food would help, but I think perseverance is not something I’ll be able to continue. I really liked the look of the ingredients, just glad I didn’t purchase a bigger bag!

Caused reverse sneezing
I would not recommend this food. My dog started having terrible reverse sneezing attacks straight after eating this food even after only a few pieces. She usually has the brand veggie dog which she loves and causes no reaction which I would recommend if your looking for something meat free.

Excellent ingredients - very grateful!
Our terrier has cystinuria, so he can't process animal proteins safely. I went through all the ingredients in Lukullus Veggie and found it a better fit for his condition than the vet diets. With our Vet's permission we feed him 50/50 vet diet/Lukullus. He still sometimes produces crystals, but we are almost a year on from when he had surgery to remove stones. He looks well and has loads of energy. He has also stopped eating the pony's food, which he did when 100% on the vet diet!
My dogs love it
Having tried a few different brands this is the one that has stopped one dog from scratching and they both love it. Complete food and both dogs had no problems during transition. Highly recommended.

He loved us straight off
My oldie terrier loves this. Even though I wondered if the peices might be too hard for him (he's 13),but he loves it and has no problem eating it. I've even used the pellets as treats in training, he'll work for them so they must be good! The ingredients are by far the best I've seen in veggie food. I occasionally give him some tinned fish or dog meat for variety but mostly he has this and fresh veggies when there are leftovers. He is a very happy dog :)

Good as a mixer
I was surprised how much my dogs liked this food but I use it as a mixer for home cooked dog food. I am sorry but I do not believe dogs are made not to eat meat.

Dogs loved it.
I feed this as a mixer for my home cooked food. I cook for my 2 dalmatians as I like to know the quality of the meat the dogs are getting. This is great for added vegetables and fruit. I was really surprised that my dogs loved it as they are really fussy.
Diarrhoea
Both my cocker spaniels had terrible runs since I started adding some of the Lukullus Veggie into their existing dog food as slow transition. Started on Thursday with soft stool and on Saturday morning the younger dog had runs 5x just on Sat early morning. By Sunday we counted that he had 28 poo with most of them just watery runs. The older one had disintegrated poo.
Would not recommend.

Veggielicious
I was really pleased to find this product as I include fresh veg daily in my three dogs meals. Some days though I need a quick prepared dish. This has really proved a huge success. The dogs really love it and I use as treats on our walks too . One of my dogs is 11 and due to adverse reactions to all dog foods when young I have prepared her a plant based diet each day. She has been the healthiest dog with abundant energy. Three wagging tails for this delicious food! .
