Awful
First 2 bags were great, 3rd one was the new recipe and non resealable bag. Went stale, wasn't favoured by any of my cats when previously they ate what was put down and the price has increased by £14 since my last bag! I won't be buying again

My cat doesn't seem as keen on this as other varieties purchased in the past, such as the duck one. It's also disappointing that the 6.5kg bag isn't resealable. Every Wild Freedom bag of this size that I've purchased in the past has been resealable.

Kipples are very big
My cats loved the 400g. But having ordered the 6.5kg I am shocked how big the kipples are. Usually that's the size for dog kippples.

Beware of new recipe
My cat used to like this food a lot, but the change in recipe at the beginning of the year has triggered a food allergy. Please be aware when purchasing and monitor your cat if you note any changes in behaviour while feeding the food, it might be an allergy too. I am trying to find out what was changed with the recipe to help excluding it from the diet again. If you have a similar issue, please contact zooplus so that they can

New Recipe! Beware of allergies
My cat only liked quality grain free dry food and this brand was one of the favourites since when I have discovered it about a year ago. Then it went out of stock for some time late in 2025 - Since it is back (around Feb 2026) my cat did not like it the same and since developed a food allergy. This allergy affects other dry food - only wet food it okay now after 11 yrs of dry. I am yet to establish what changed, but a word of caution. If the same happens to you, please contact zooplus.

Misleading. 59% of meat and protein is from poultry.
It Only contains 10% of lamb. It should not be promoted or marketed as lamb, it should poultry.
The new recipes also changed the size of the biscuits. It is so small compared with previous versions. Very disappointed.

Why so small now?
My cats went wild for this stuff before, they have lost interest now. They WERE big and satisfying, maybe this is why. Very disappointing after waiting for them to come back in stock 🫤

All the cats love this......
When you have 9 cats its nice to find one that they will all enjoy. They each have their wet food preferences but all have the same buicuits, the green lambs variety they like the best.

Palatable
My girl has had problems for the last 2 years with swellings in her mouth. I despaired of her not eating and brought so many different small packs of food to try. Most went out for the local feral cats, but the lamb and duck flavours she ate well. At least for a time.... the struggle is real lol

too hard
this kibble was a good size and seemed good quality but it was far too hard for my cats to crunch. One of my cats that crunches all kibble was trying hard but only managed to break a few before swallowing. I am not giving it to him anymore as worried it will damage his teeth . He catches and eats pray but this is harder than raw bones .

At last!
This food has gone down very well in our house with all kitties. No upset tummys either. Fantastic. Grain free and very very similer to another "well known" brand flavour wise but almost £6 cheaper. Perfect. Will be buying this from now on.
