Skin allergies

Just purrfect and loved by our cat, skin allergies starting to improve

Citrus Pulp??

How can you put citrus pulp in cat food when citrus is poisonous to cats? Sounds like that might be why the other cats in the reviews are vomiting? Could you revert back to the previous formula maybe? Hard to find allergenic foods for cats, especially when you keep adding fruit and vegetable ingredients that aren't suitable. My cat is stuck on the same food because of this!

Hill’s Z/D biscuits.

I was recommended to try my Norwegian Forest on this diet she has hyperthyroidism & despite being balanced she has an ongoing problem with loose smelly faeces. She really enjoys the biscuits & is holding her weight, but faeces aren’t consistently good so further investigation is required. Both my cats enjoy this diet so certainly worth a try for cats with sensitivity issues.

Amazing

Runny stool samples for months returned nil results so the vets suggested colitis and recommended trying this for our two cats who were only approaching 1 year old. Poor little things. Immediate results. Perfect poops, and all round happier pusscats for some 5 months now. We are thrilled and will not look back.

Life saving producy

I’m happy and relieved I’ve found this product. My cat has been suffering from chronic IBS, bloody stools and diarrhoea for around 3 years. We’ve tried everything, including multiple tests and scans. 2 weeks on this and the blood has finally stopped and her poo looks normal. She’s also much happier in herself. I’m so grateful She prefers the zd dry food to the wet

Very good!

Most food gives my Ragdoll really bad runs. But the vet recommended this and it does not! He’s beeb eating this for around 4 years and i’ve has no issues!

Not great

The target audience for this product was not interested, although a couple of the other cats in the household ate some from time to time - in a household of 7 cats I would have expected a better result but the bowl always had a lot left in it. It was far from being a hit so I couldn't justify buying it again.

Excellent Results & Highly Recommended!

A locum vet recommended this food several years ago for one of my British Shorthair brothers, who was having ongoing problems with his digestive system. Now the whole cat family eat it every day, with excellent results and no more problems. It is a very popular food with all 4 cats.

Not helpful for my cat anymore

It has been working for one year, but recently this bag cannot help me anymore, my Aben started to vomit more severely.

Perfect for our cats tummy.

Our cat had crystals in her urine which were operated o successfully. Unfortunately she had ongoing tummy problems and despite different prescription diets from Royal Canin and Hills, nothing changed. Then the vet checked the ingredients of the Royal Canin and Hills foods and discovered they both contained crustaceans, so she suggested changing to this food and the improvement was fantastic. She has gone nearly 18 months with no tummy problems. She has now be diagnosed with IBS.

Z/d cat food

I have been ordering Z/d for my persian cat as was recommended by our vet 3 years ago.. I am not sure what has changed but when my new order arrived few weeks ago my cat is constantly having diarrhea and vomiting.. After several expensive trips to the vet .. I have had to start making his food myself.. someone tell me what is going on ?

My cat loves it!

Our cat kept having diarrhoea when eating popular cat food found in commerce. Then, the vet suggested to switch food for the 3rd time and to try the z/d type for food sensitivities and it resolved the issue. Our cat has been eating only Hill's Prescription food since for the past couple of years already and he had without problems

EXCELLENT I WANT TO BUY 8 KG BUT YOU ONLY SEEM TO HAVE SMALL AND 6 KG

Not good for cats with allergies - ingredients should specify protein type

Bought this product thinking was the best for my cat who suffers with IBD and loved it. At begining noticed stools more soft but still formed...after 2 months started having episodes of diarrhea...within 3 months diarreha was constant. Thought was due to changes on his environment so kept giving it along with medication for 5 months then check label: meat and animal derivatives?? Which meat? Changed to a non-meat food and diarrhea gone in 1week!! Not giving Z/D anymore & keep away from chicken!!

Cat food

Bought this for my cat as she has a tummy issue recommended by our vet She loves it can’t get enough of it She is now putting on weight & tummy issues are going slowly only had one bag at the moment but we are happy with it

What is happening

No issues for years, and now I'm cleaning up vomit everyday!

Changed formula, cat has constant diarrhoea

They have changed the formula not just the packet. My cat used to tolerate the old version but he can’t eat the new version because he gets constant diarrhoea from it, I don’t know what they have changed but the new formula triggers sensitivities.

I pray others read this before ordering

My cat has been on zd biscuits for 3 years as he has had chronic pancreatitis and triaditis he's incredibly sensitive and needs to keep to what we know, I did my usual order of them and when they turned up I noticed the packaging was different I thought surely they wouldn't change a biscuit for sensitive cats without a HUGE warning Nope apparently they have one very poorly cat and a vet trip thankfully I used good sense to immediately take him off the biscuits! Why do this to sensitive cats!

Stopped sickness and diarrhoea

We spent nearly £700 with various tests at the vets to find out why my cat suddenly had sickness and diarrhoea. As a last resort after trying everything except invasive surgery, the vet suggest a hydrolysed diet. We didn’t think it would work after trying various diet changes over the previous weeks but this cat food stopped the problem within a week. We’ve got our old cat back now and so glad we were able to find the cause.

Stuck with new food formulation

This is quite disappointing. My cat has been on ZD for 10 years without any issues. Switched over and been flaring up since. Not I have to look for another food and manage her poor itchy skin again :(
