Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary at a glance:
  • Dietetic complete dry food tailored to your cat's specific nutritional needs
  • Scientifically-based nutrition which supports veterinary therapy
  • Top-quality raw ingredients ensure it is well-accepted, and very digestible
  • Made in Germany.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary is a premium complete dry food for adult cats with urinary disease. Many cats suffer with FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease), including bladder infections, cystitis and bladder stones. These issues often occur if your cat does not drink enough and the urine becomes too concentrated. When this happens, excess minerals can form small crystals. Larger mineral formations are called stones. The most common are struvite stones which are made up of a magnesium-ammonium-phosphate compound and occur when the urine pH is too alkaline.

How can Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary help your cat?
This premium therapeutic food has been specifically developed for cats with bladder stones and urinary tract disease and is optimally adapted to suit their specific nutritional needs. The food has acidifying properties which help to dissolve existing struvite stones. These stones are made up mainly of magnesium and phosphorus, so Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary has a customised magnesium and phosphorus content to help reduce urine pH while still providing the appropriate amount needed to cover your pet's daily nutritional needs. The omega 3 fatty acids in salmon oil support shiny fur and supple skin.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet – tailored therapeutic nutrition for your cat.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal is a premium complete dry food for adult cats with kidney issues. When renal function is impaired it compromises the kidney's abilities to perform efficiently. Toxins and protein wastes are not eliminated properly, and the kidneys become overloaded. If your cat is suffering from kidney disease it needs a diet that helps to relieve and support the kidneys. Insufficient or low fluid intake combined with an acidic urinary environment can lead to the formation of bladder stones such as calcium oxalate or uric acid stones. The appropriate mineral content and urinary pH values can help to reduce the risk of bladder stones.

How can Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal help your cat?
This premium therapeutic dry food has been specifically developed for cats with renal problems and is optimally adapted to suit their nutritional needs. It has a low protein content and is made using only top-quality protein which produces fewer toxins and waste products such as urea. It is also low in phosphorus which helps to reduce the work the kidneys must do. Cats with renal issues are often unable to eliminate excess phosphorus and this can overload the kidneys. A balanced ratio of minerals helps to counteract over-acidic urine. Cats with kidney disease often suffer from loss of appetite. Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal is well accepted.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic - Insect at a glance:
  • Dietetic complete dry food tailored to your cat's specific nutritional needs
  • Scientifically-based nutrition which supports veterinary therapy
  • Top-quality raw ingredients ensure it is well-accepted, and very digestible
  • Made in Germany.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic - Insect is a premium complete dry food for adult cats which suffer from nutritional sensitivities, intolerances and dermatosis. Many cats have an adverse reaction to some foods, ingredients or additives. This can result in nutritional intolerances and allergies. When your cat has an allergic reaction to food it is because the immune system is overreacting to certain proteins. Food intolerance is not connected to the immune system. Both allergies and intolerances can cause skin and digestive problems such as itching and diarrhoea.

The best way to establish the cause of food intolerance is to put your pet on an elimination or exclusion diet with limited ingredients and a selected source of animal protein. Skin issues are not just caused by intolerance to certain foods but also a reaction to flea saliva or the environment. A diet with top quality fatty acids helps to support healthy skin.

How can Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic help your cat?
This premium therapeutic food has been specifically developed to meet the nutritional needs of cats that suffer from food intolerances, allergies and skin problems. In order to reduce the possibility of raw ingredient and nutrient intolerance the only source of protein in this food is dried insect. Excluding commonly used animal protein from your pet's diet helps to lessen the risk of an adverse reaction. to help support skin function in dermatosis and excessive hair loss, this food is enriched with salmon oil which is particularly high in omega-3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Sunflower oil also provides valuable linoleic acid.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet – tailored therapeutic nutrition for your cat.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal at a glance:
  • Dietetic complete dry food tailored to your cat's specific nutritional needs
  • Scientifically-based nutrition which supports veterinary therapy
  • Top-quality raw ingredients ensure it is well-accepted, and very digestible
  • Made in Germany.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal is a premium complete dry food specifically formulated for adult cats with inadequate digestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and acute absorption disorders. These cats cannot digest food sufficiently, so they are not able to absorb vital nutrients properly. The intestinal flora is disturbed, vomiting and diarrhoea can cause further loss of body water and vital electrolytes. If these symptoms occur over a long period of time, they can lead to dehydration and emaciation. If your cat has a pancreatic disfunction such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency these symptoms may be analogous.

How can Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal help your cat?
This premium therapeutic kibble has been specifically developed to meet the nutritional needs of cats suffering from gastrointestinal disorders and impaired pancreatic function. The palatable ingredients are easy to digest ensuring that your cat's digestive system is not overloaded. Feed this food in small portions for optimal compatibility. The increased ratio of selected minerals helps to quickly compensate for any loss of electrolytes, making it suitable if your cat is suffering from acute or chronic diarrhoea. Concept for life Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal also contains mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) which can help to stabilise disturbed gut flora. This tasty cat food is low in fat.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Weight Control at a glance:
  • Dietetic complete dry food tailored to your cat's specific nutritional needs
  • Scientifically-based nutrition which supports veterinary therapy
  • Top-quality ingredients ensure it is well-accepted, and very digestible
  • Made in Germany.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Weight Control is a premium complete dry food for adult cats with weight problems. Obesity in cats can have many different causes. Some of the most important factors are too high an energy intake and too little movement. Neutered cats and house cats can experience changes to their metabolism and this can affect their weight adversely. Obesity and overweight can also increase the risk of certain diseases such as diabetes mellitus. Diabetes is a disorder where an insufficient insulin function affects the glucose metabolism. A change to your cat's diet is necessary to support weight reduction and to regulate the glucose supply.

How can Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Weight Control help your cat?
This premium therapeutic kibble has been specifically developed to meet the nutritional needs of cats that are overweight or suffer from diabetes mellitus. By combining low energy levels, adequate protein and L-carnitine, Concept for Life's Veterinary Diet Weight Control can help to support a reduction in excess weight. Natural fibre promotes satiety and a regular digestion. If your cat is overweight its joints can be particularly stressed. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate provide nutrients that can help to support cartilage. The low carbohydrate content helps to regulate the glucose supply if your cat is suffering from diabetes mellitus. Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Weight Control provides your cat with all important vitamins, minerals and trace elements, so your pet will not suffer any nutrient deficiency, even if it remains on this diet for a long time.

Contraindications:
Not suitable for pregnant or lactating cats, kittens, cats with hepatic insufficiency associated with impaired bile secretion, and cats with struvite stones.

The best Gastro food out there
One of our 4 Maine Coons has absorption issues and so this and it's wet food equivalent were an easy choice to try. It has been universally accepted by all 4, to the point of them ignoring previous favourite foods. Without question it has sorted out all of the big lads issues, and while it isn't cheap, it's chesier than most and is also grain free, unlike some premium veterinary brands. Buy with confidence, great food.

Great transition food
Multi-cat household - After the stress of being informed that the kitties diet needed to change to a renal one, I tried all of the royal canin biscuits and he wouldn’t eat any of them. Concept however was really popular and because he enjoyed eating it, it has allowed me to transition him fully into a renal diet to the point where he will now eat royal canin renal biscuits too. A really good conduit.

Be warned, cat may still have symptoms
My cat loved it, however as with the one star review, after about a day or two went back to having irritations. For reference, she eats anallergenic dry food, and is able to eat hypoallergenic salmon wet food. Luckily my other cat who doesn’t suffer with allergies loves it so it’s not going to waste!

Proof is in the product
We have a very fussy cat who won’t eat anything except dry food and treats! She’s slowly been gaining weight and I knew she needed to slim down, but how if she was so fussy? I came across these cubes, after reading the reviews I was sceptical but knew I needed to try something. To my delight she gradually started to loose the weight and her over condition improved 10 fold. She’s a lot more active, her coat is silky and shines. The proof is in the product. I highly recommend this product.

My IBD cat is thriving on this!
After 7 years of trial and error I have finally found the perfect food for my IBD cat! No more vomiting or runny stools and the vet has just confirmed that he has gained a kg in weight! I'm so happy! My other 7 cats enjoy the food too! Highly recommended!

Great stuff!
I decided to try this for two of my cats that have been having loose, slimy & bloody poop for a while. I have tried everything, including some other brands of gastrointestinal food. Nothings works. I decided to try this brand as they’re already on the urinary one after reading the reviews. It’s amazing! Works like magic. No more, loose, slimy and bloody 💩. Defo no more horrendous smell that comes with it as well. Highly recommend this products.

I'm surprised
One of mine loves this, she's on a diet and this is healthy. My once feral now domesticated didn't take to it, but considering he was living on the street for 2yrs he's a picky eater

Yum
Ziggy seems to really enjoy it as much as the more expensive brands he has tried. I am pleased that it improves his gut health.

Brilliant
This is the only cat dry food that makes my Persian cats stools normal. I must have tried every brand by now and they all give him the runs. Would recommend this highly for cats with sensitive digestion . Give it a try. I did.

He took one sniff, then refused it
I should clarify that my cat is a very fussy eater. He's very food motivated, and when he finds a food he likes, he won't stop demanding more. I'm sure most cats enjoy this just fine, but my little Biscuit hated it, and I'm reviewing on his behalf. My last cat Betty died of kidney disease, and she was a big fan of Concept for Life's renal range.

Cannot praise enough!
I adopted a 6year old sphynx cat, from the day I got him he had terrible diarrhea. He was on a raw food diet but it didn't seem to suit him. Took him to the vets he had worming treatment and was given clean bill of health but still the trouble continued.Vet suggested slowly transition him on to hills gastro food, 3 weeks later no improvement. Then suggested Royal Canin gastro one. Still problem continued. I ordered this as last resort and within 48 hrs, success!! solid poo. He's so much happier.

Depends on the cat?
I’ve got two cats. One of them started throwing up the first couple of days on this food, now he seems to tolerate it. The other cat was okay (he has FHS), but now after 10 days on this food he has started throwing up too! I’m mixing it with regular food to check if they can tolerate alone. They seem to like it though!

Brilliant food and stops diarrhoea
One of our cats had diarrhoea with mucus and blood in it and has been on Hills Z/D. It works but she had no variety, didn't enjoy it much and has always been skinny. Had a free sample of the Concept sensitive skin which she tolerated really well then bought this: the Gastrointestinal food. She absolutely loves it. No diarrhoea! We've still got her on the Z/D but the Concept is much cheaper, she is putting weight on and her fur is glossy. I think insect protein is more natural for cats too.

Was brillant before price hikes
Ive fed this to my two Siberian Forest cats for a few years, and it was great for their digestion and for the environment. But the price has been steadily increasing to the point where it's not worth the cost, even when buying in bulk.

Cars didn't like it
My cats aren't very fussy, but 3 of the 5 didn't like this one. They are used to insect based food, but this one just wasn't to their taste

Helped with our senior cat's allergy
Our senior cat started to get very itchy skin and hair loss from a suspected food allergy. We made a few changes to his diet (sticking to one pouch brand and removing cat milk as a regular treat) as well as changing his biscuits to these and his skin is so much better! He's quite fussy eater but has been enjoying these since we introduced them and hasn't shown any signs of getting bored with them. We're just ordering a second 3kg pouch and would definitely recommend them.

Amazing for cat with IBD
My cat has been poorly for a year or so with very bad symptoms vomiting, bloating, flatulent, diarrhoea and constipation. Nothing stated down. He’s been in an elimination diet. I’d tried royal canin hypoallergenic but found this still face him wind and diarrhoea. This is amazing!!!! We’ve gone from poo everywhere to firm poos back in the litter box and a very content happy cat. Can not rate this enough!!!

Fussy cat approved
My old boy (16) is on a renal diet much to his disgust. I've tried him on most of the dry biscuits and this one he will often choose over wet food.

Astonishing improvement in cats digestive health
One of my cats has suffered with IBD for over two years. I had almost given up seeing any improvement after trying every cat food and medication from the vet. Within five days of switching to these biscuits it's like I have a new cat! No more diarrhoea, stink or mess everywhere. He's more active and seems genuinely happier. The food seems initially expensive but is actually saving me over £20 a month!. I have just ordered the 3 bag bundle, as I know it works. Highly recommended :)
