Despite nowadays being true friends and companions for humans, they still exhibit many of the behaviours of their wild ancestors. Wild Freedom has based its dishes on your cat's natural instincts, with each recipe formed around the original diet of the wild cats and containing 98% meat, offal and broth. The high-quality protein ensures the food is well-accepted, and avoiding grains can help to improve digestibility.

My cats liked the first 2 tins

My 3 cats really loved the first three 2 tins that I bought for them. I purchased some more & they wouldn't eat it. I don't know why they won't eat it now. Perhaps something's changed in the ingredients I'm not sure.

Good quality and composition

Good quality and good composition. High meat content. My picky cat eats it very willingly.A big minus is that the company does not offer smaller capacity cans because food changes color and smell quite quickly, even when stored in the refrigerator.

Poor quality pate

Rejected by my cat after a few bites. She loved the smell but it wasn't what we expected. I bought this as my cat likes the dry food. From the ingredients and price point I was expecting meat/fish in gravy/broth of a decent quality. It is actually what looks like unappetising pate. Very overpriced for what it is. Do not recommend unless your cat really loves pate.

Something has changed?

My cat used to love the chicken flavour and eat every bite but the last 6 pack I bought, he would only eat a few bites and the last two tins he quite badly vomited 4 hrs after just a few bites. I didn't put it down to this food as he had ate so little, then the same happened with the final tin, 4 hours after eating it he was sick. Not sure if an ingrediant has changed or he's become allergic to something in it but won't be buying anymore.

My fussy cat LOVES this

My cat Lola goes though fazes where she doesn’t like wet food. So I got her this food as well as Rosie’s farm pate’s also from Zooplus. I gave a bit of each and within a minute the bowl was cleaned! I was so shocked, Lola asked for more also in the space of half an hour. I didn’t mind giving it to her, and another clean bowl again! I warm the food by putting boiling water in a pan and putting my cats food just sitting in the hot water until the food smell gets potent. Amazing!!

Depending on cat

My cat likes only chicken but won’t eat it all the time. Unfortunately there is a lot of big hard chunks so I have to throw them away or give to dog. My cat is 18 so she has to have everything mashed up, some of the batches are great and some are absolutely horrible with plenty of big hard chunks so waste of money

Top Quality & Popular!

My 3 cats all love this food. We've tried all sorts but this is the one thing they all like. I chop up the hearts & livers etc as 1 cat has no teeth but the fact that there is visible quality offal in the meat is great. Recognisable meat! Plus great bowel movements, even from my cat with gastro issues. Plus it's in a tin (so recyclable!) packed solid with meat (+ a bit of jelly). 1 small tin feeds my 3 cats for 2 meals. Cats are fussy things, but give this a go. Proper meaty goodness!

DISSAPOINTED.

All four cats would only eat one flavour...even my big male who normally eats anything!!! Lumpy, smells bad...don't blame them! Wasted my money!

Nasty looking, smells bad

Bought as my cats were happy with their dry food. Looks nasty, does not smell appetising, large chunks, lumps and gristle, hard to break down All 6 cats unhappy with this meat. 2 wouldn't touch it, 4 ate under sufferance made it plain they were unimpressed. I had 2 trays of the small tins so fed other food for a few weeks then went back to the Wild Freedom - this time all 6 cats refused to eat it. All walked away in disgust. Ended up donating it to a wildlife rescue

Good quality real meat

My cats absolutely loved it. Yes it has some lumps but that’s the actual meat/fish content and thankfully it does smell- like proper food. They has seconds and still cleared the bowels. You get what you pay for.

absolutely not

Smells terrible and gave my cat vomiting and diarrhea. Had weird lumps and chunks in it, as if it hadn't been fully processed. Definitely will not be trying again

My cat vomited after this. they changed the composition of the food, there are some big pieces inside and it stinks terribly, they are not fresh! and for that expensive I'm asking why the food is so expensive if it's not good and the cat feels bad and vomits after them

Game Over

The tins are massive. I manage to feed 3 cats for 2 days off a single tin. My cats are choosing beggars who are very particular about what they consume. The consistency is a jelly, which my sauce-loving cats do not like. The smell is indescribable - like dog food. It sticks to the walls of the house. Less fussy cats were coming for miles around for a free feed.

Lovely smell. Lovely food.

I like this food because my cat's poo is better and doesn't smell as bad. My other cat is very difficult with gum issues so there isn't much juice into this, so i still mix it with his other food, but i know secretly with his cat language he loves the smell. He jumped on the surface where he never even comes to want food. Difficult cat. Difficult life. So wow. I like it. I am hoping slowly to make my difficult cat like this food because the one he eats is sadly not going to be on Zooplus UK
