These guidelines are based on a diet of exclusively wet food. If your cat has a combined diet of wet and dry food, please adjust the feeding amounts accordingly.
Changing from one food to another should be done gradually so your cat's intestinal flora has sufficient time to adapt to a new food. Over 7 days, mix Royal Canin wet food in gradually increasing proportions into your cat's existing diet. This gradual adaptation lowers the risk of diarrhoea. Excessive food intake may also cause digestive problems.
Please note that these are guidelines only. Actual feeding amounts should be adjusted according to your cat's age, activity levels and circumstances. Monitor your cat's weight and adjust feeding amounts as required. Daily amounts should be offered spread over two portions a day. Fresh water should be provided at all times.

Fussy cats eat it & look healthy
Got 2 fussy cats but both of them love this - but only the jelly one not gravy! Visitors & vets comment on them looking healthy.

Something changed
I believe RC did something and changed the ingredients. My cat has been on this for 3 years. Lately he developed severe allergies to this food and started vomiting daily, after feeding.

I have tried many wet cat food , I do not want to say what brand, expensive or not... Royal canine is the one that my fussy princess likes it a lot, actually leaving the bowl empty.
Recently Changed Formula
I had 9 cats that loved RC sterilised in jelly. Recently they removed certain sugars from this food and now 6 refuse to eat it, and 1 will only eat it if I cover it in crumbled Cosma Snackies. I’ve tried warning it and mixing the old with the new to transition to no avail. 3 only eat this wet food, 2 of them have IBS/IBD, so changing their diet causes problems. I’m not happy with RC, as this has happened with other formulas and customers get no warning of any changes.
