Product description

Dietetic wet food for adult cats with digestive problems, easily digestible single food with low fat content, low crude fibre content, increased electrolyute content.

Kattovit Gastro Pouch is a dietary wet food for cats with gastrointestinal problems. These can manifest themselves in symptoms such as vomiting, indigestion or diarrhoea.

In order not to put additional strain on the digestive tract, this wet food contains easily digestible protein sources to support in providing sufficient energy. The gastrointestinal tract can be additionally relieved by a reduced proportion of raw fibres and a low fat content. To compensate for a lack of minerals and salts due to increased fluid loss, this wet food has an increased electrolyte content.

Kattovit Gastro Pouches at a glance:

  • Dietetic complete food for adult cats to compensate for inadequate digestion and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and to alleviate acute intestinal absorption disorders.
  • Increased electrolyte content: to compensate for fluid loss
  • Easily digestible single feed: particularly digestible recipe
  • Low crude fibre & fat content: can reduce the risk of excessive stress on the digestive tract
  • With taurine: essential amino acid, may contribute to normal vision & heart function
  • With vitamins & minerals: for a balanced and holistic diet
  • Well-accepted: tender chunks in sauce, well-accepted even by cats with reduced appetite
  • Easy to portion: thanks to practical pouches

IBD and hyperthyroid senior cat is properly eating again
Have been so worried as Benji hadn't been eating properly consistently for weeks, and each time there was an IBD episode it was more difficult to get him back on track. The only thing we changed is feeding him this product and he is a changed cat. 10 days in he cannot get enough. Still licks instead of eating sometimes but if I mash the food first he will eat it all.I am wasting far less food, he is loving it and gaining weight! Stools are much firmer, healthier and less smelly

First time in years the dish is clean!
Granville, my gorgeous but fussy mog, is getting old and now needs gastro food. Kattovit was my third gastro product and I gave it to him, without much hope of him eating (last lot he didn't even deign to sniff) . Imagine my joy when he tucked into it and cleared the dish (in several goes, he's a grazer). He is now polishing off 2 pouches a day which is unheard of in this house - I am over the moon...

Game changer for my IBD Persian
After trying so many different gastrointestinal wet foods with awful consequences, I found this was by far the best for my clinically diagnosed IBD Persian. He has this along with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Hairball dry food during the day & he has improved dramatically. We have been able to reduce his steroid treatment without any flares & is such a happier boy! Please please please keep stocking this brand!!!!

Changed my cats life
This is the only food that my cat will tolerate and eat until the portion has gone. She had been back and forth to the vets and tried multiple different diets. She has started putting on weight and she will appears to want more of it after eating whereas she would previously refuse or only pick at her food. Please keep this stocked up and give it a try if your cat is having GI problems.

Constant liquid poop
My cat has epi (pancreas doesn't produce enzymes to digest foods) so thought would try these , ever since I started giving her these the poo has gone from semi formed to complete brown liquid , change it back to a different brand and they start to firm up again , so not convinced these are doing her any good . I had big hopes for the food so I don't think I will continue with this

Brilliant for my cat’s sensitive tummy
My cat has a very sensitive tummy which causes diarrhoea. Most brands of sensitive cat food still give her diarrhoea. However this one doesn’t AND she loves it. The only other wet food she can eat is Royal Canin Sensitive, which is more expensive, only comes in one flavour, and she doesn’t like it that much. Thanks Zooplus for stocking this!

Never in stock
I've managed to buy this a couple of times, so I end up buying another in bulk. Then lo and behold after receiving my cat food the other is in stock. I'm not going to buy more cat food when I've just received a bulk order. My cat is 14 and now has a sensative stomach IBS.

So far so good
My cat has been quite unwell with her stomach, from throwing up to very watery poo to drastic weight loss. Despite my vets recommendations for a different type of food, my cat turned her nose up to their recommendation and I was very distressed. A family member recommended this cat brand and I bought some. So far my cat not only enjoys it enough to eat, but she also hasn't thrown up (touchwood) and her stools seem alright. The food is also small bits, good for cats with dental problems.

Both my pedegree cats feel better
I have two british Shorthairs. One has diarea and we tried everything. I believe in wet food so this has helped his poo. And my other one for few years I kept putting probiotics on his wet food to digest as he has issues and always leaves food doesn't eat or sometimes throws up. I hope this helps both my cats for a while as you must know that cats are fussy eaters and who knows when suddenly change their mind and stop eating that particular food! Let's hope that lasts long! Thank you!

Gastro
Genuinely the only food my Bengal boy can eat. He suffers with diarrhoea and this is caused by any other food I have given him. He can eat plain chicken but that doesn't give him any nutrients. Hes been on this for a few months but it took about 5 days for his diarrhoea to go away, they only time it has returned is when hes managed to eat my other cats food. If your cat suffers from the same issue I'd recommend trying this, it really is a life saver for us! Zooplus never stop selling this!

My cat seems to like this sensitive cat food. I've ordered it many and it's had a positive effect on her stomach. Not sure why the Turkey is not available at the moment as that's the one she prefers, but will try her on the duck variety.

Cat's love and it helps my cat with cronic Diarrhea.
It's a wonderful food, out of all gastro and sensitivity diets we have tried my cats love this food and the Kattovit sensitivity pouches the most. They truly love the taste. One of my cats had cronic diarrhea and sensitivity issues and on top of that he is also a very finicky eater. I'm so happy to see that I found a food what helps to relieve him from his digestive problems and he also happily eats it.

Literally a Life Saver
My daughter's Persian has had chronic diarrhoea (with the associated pain) she she rehomed her. The poor cat refused the litter tray and the resulting efforts to get her to use puppy pads was something I would find exhausting. Now, after numerous veterinary test, treatments and HUGE bills. First meal and cat gulped this down and is gaining weight much to Vets' surprise! Normal poos a bonus!!!

Relief for and Tilly
I've struggled to find something she will eat. As with previous review she has runny smelly number 2s! I have boxes of very expensive food that she won't touch. She loves this, and the price is great - thank goodness, bless her

Cats like it but only after it's mashed up.
Both my cats were sick straight after eating it, since they are not very good at chewing their food, and the meat chunks are quite big. I started mashing the chunks for them and it worked! Flavour is approved by both fussy Burmese.

Finally, something my cat can eat!
I've been having terrible trouble with my little Devon Rex for months. She developed stress-related colitis when my neighbour started renovating their house, making a huge amount of noise for months on end. Despite endless vet visits, we reached the stage where the only thing she could eat without getting terrible diarrhoea or bleeding was plain cooked chicken, which she got bored of very very quickly. I tentatively tried her on Kattovit Gastro a few weeks ago and she devoured it. She's been having one sachet a day since (chicken for her other meal) and has had no problems at all with her stomach, has started to gain weight and is seeming so much happier. Such a relief!
