According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the likelihood of an infected person contaminating merchandise with the virus is very low. The risk of contracting the virus through a package which has been transported long distances and has been exposed to various external conditions and temperatures is also very low.

Studies indicate that the Coronavirus can only survive on external surfaces for a short period of time.

However, if you would like to take extra precautions you can clean the packaging and products with a simple disinfectant. Also, clean your hands with an alcoholic hand sanitizer or wash them thoroughly with soap and warm water for a minimum of 20 seconds. As a general rule, avoid touching your eyes, mouth, or nose.
