The hammock was difficult to attach to bars, however its cheap and a hammock and all 3 of my rats love it & sleep in it! I didn’t realise the hammock was more like a tube though!

My rats love this hammock; they lie in it every day. However, I find the rings absolutely impractical – you can only attach or remove them with a lot of force. So, I took some small clips from an old, broken hanging bridge and attached them to the rings. Now I use these to secure the hammock to the cage. But make sure to buy two if you don’t have a dryer. ;)

My rats love this hammock. Easy to wash, but the attachment is so-so; I'll probably replace it soon. After hanging it up and taking it down twice, it's unfortunately bent and scratches up all the cage bars.

It's very fluffy and soft. One of my rats' favourite spots. I've had it for ages now, and it's still holding up. It's washable too. However, I'm deducting one star because it's really, really exhausting to attach and remove this thing, as the metal rings are very hard to bend. Clips would be much more practical here.

Actually a great hammock... I'm just missing some kind of chains to hang it up – since it’s supposed to go in the middle of the cage.... Well, a bit of DIY is fine too. By the way, the colour doesn’t match the picture... tiger stripes instead of leopard print ;-) Still nice – very fluffy.

A few weeks ago, I ordered this hammock for my rats. At first, they didn’t really want to use it, so I added some wool inside, and voilà, it worked. Now they snuggle up in it and sleep soundly. They absolutely love this hammock. The size is perfect! I haven’t washed it yet, but I hope it holds up well! Thumbs up!

Well, I think the hammock is really great, but unfortunately, there aren’t any hooks to attach it to the top of the cage (wooden ceiling). BUT otherwise, it’s just super lovely, really fluffy, veeeery big, & has a cool look ;* brilliant :D

The mat is simply TOP, but there’s something to criticise about the rings. Since the ends are bent outwards, there’s a chance of injury. However, I just replaced them with straps, and now it’s already being taken over by the little noses :) So maybe the hanging rings should be changed ;)

Brought this hammock for my 2 young female rats. They absolutey love the warmth and security that the hammock provides as its enclosed as opposed to the open style hammocks which my girls wont use. Good build quality and a very resonable price. My only critiscm would be of the 6 loops that attach the hammock to the cage. They work on the same basis as the loop on a key ring and are really fiddly to fix and remove from the cage. I have added clip style fixing brackets which makes things alot easier. The hammock proved to be invaluable for socializing / trust training my young rats. I could unclip the hammock (with them awake of course!) and take it from the cage and place the hammock on the couch with us. Then with a few treats the rats would come out and retreat back to the hammock if they felt nervous. 6 days after getting the rats (totally unsocialized/un handled pet shop rats) they willing come straight out of the cage up our arms and I know the hammock had alot to do with building their confidence. My only advice would be buy 2. I've just ordered a second as my naughty girls wee in theirs so it needs washing. A second will allow me to rotate them. My only criticism

My 15 ratties are really taken with this hammock (though you could call it more of a hanging cuddle tube ;) ). However, I’m deducting one point because of the hanging rings. With their upward-bent ends, they could quickly pose a risk of injury in the heat of the moment, so I replaced them immediately. Certainly helpful for attaching the hammock, but a bit too risky for me, as things can get pretty wild with my pack. That said, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hammock and would buy it again without hesitation once this one is "worn out" ;)
