I’ve ordered the hammock for the third time now, and unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed this time. For one, it’s been drastically reduced in size, and on top of that, there’s now a hole at the top, which takes away a lot of the lying surface. My rats used to lie on the upper level, but that’s no longer possible now. With the old dimensions, it was the only hammock that was big enough, but sadly, that’s no longer the case. Such a shame.

Have had several hammocks for our two rats and purchased this following good reviews. The hammock itself is very well made with strong secure rings for hanging - that strong, it was tricky to secure to cage. Rats loved it, sleeping inside and on top. Sadly it lasted a matter of days because they chewed the inside to bits. Had it lasted would have rated higher but firms need to re think materials used for rat, and any gnawing animals, beds.

The hammock was very much enjoyed by my female rats, but just as eagerly destroyed – after three days, the bottom part was already torn. Additionally, I find the rings for attaching it quite impractical, as they only allow you to hang the hammock in specific spots in the cage.
