bars are too big

They say there's a 2cm gap between the bars but its closer to 3cm, meaning this temporary cage is useless for my micro ferret

Cruel!

Far too small for rabbits or guinea pigs. Zooplus should be ashamed if themselves for offering it for sale.

Does not meet minimum size standards

This product does not meet the Blue Cross's minimum size requirements of 180 x 60 x 60cm for a pair of rabbits, or 150 x 60 x 60cm for guinea pigs. They require to be in at least pairs.

Does not meet minimum size requirements for welfare.

This cage MUST not be used as a permanent home. It does not meet the Blue Cross minimum size standards of 180 x 60 x 60 for a pair of rabbits, or 150 x 60 x 60 for a pair of guinea pigs to ensure that all their welfare needs are met. They must be kept in at least pairs of their own kind. Note that they also require a run of (240x180 rabbits) or (180x120 guinea pigs)

Still too small for most guinea pigs or rabbits

I give Ferplast credit, they do great cages, but sadly this model simply isnt big enough for most guinea pigs or rabbits over 1 year old. Better to invest in one of the larger models, e.g. the 140 or double tiered so as to ensure your pets have plenty of room!! However this 'poor' rating is simply reflecting the size of the cage (e.g. too small); ferplast quality is in general excellent as is zooplus.com's service

difficult to ...

Difficult to clean because you have to open the entire front and fold it up, which then falls down on your head. If you don’t lock it, the rabbit can open the cage itself. You should have it on a table since you can’t clean it from above, but have to crawl inside yourself or remove the whole top part. I’m sending it to recycling and buying another one—having a pet should be a pleasure, but this cage makes it a pain.
