Meh.
Basically a good idea, but the workmanship and hygiene leave much to be desired: the roof warps over time, so it no longer lies flat and rattles; the floor in the "pee corner" is difficult to clean.
It's best to remove the floor and screw two strips onto the underside of the roof to make it flat again. Then it can be used.

Well, it's alright.
I think it's annoying that the lid is loose and shifts at the slightest touch unless it's propped up against something. I'm returning it and will buy a different multi-chamber house.

Okay, depends on which one you get.
I had ordered two houses, but unfortunately, one of them had nasty staples sticking out. The other one was completely fine. The hamsters seem to like it.

Monday product?
Unfortunately, the little house has plenty of splinters and edges at all the openings, likely caused by rough milling, which could injure the occupant. Additionally, the roof sticks out about 1cm from the house wall, creating a dangerous gap if you place the house in a corner. My golden hamster managed to squeeze into this gap and couldn’t get out again because there wasn’t enough room to turn around. Otherwise, it’s okay if you avoid these hazards, so 3 stars.

Would be better without a base.
The house is great with its chambers, but it does have a few too many entrances, so the hamster has to block quite a lot if it wants it to be dark.
Unfortunately, the two middle chambers have wooden floors, which quickly absorb urine if the hamster uses one of the chambers as a toilet.

Glue can be nibbled.
I've had this house for quite a while now and was really excited about it at first. However, my mice have now gnawed off the bark in several places, and glue is starting to show. :/ I'm obviously not too thrilled about that—who knows if the glue might be harmful? Other than that, though, the house has a really great layout, and my little ones were absolutely smitten with it. ;)

Without the base plate, it would get 5 stars.
Unfortunately, one of the chambers has a bottom. Of course, our hamster uses exactly this chamber as a toilet. Cleaning it is very difficult, and mould can develop. Without a bottom – and if the hamster chooses a different toilet – 5 stars!!

Disadvantage: Wooden floor
The wooden house is okay overall. What’s bothersome and not necessarily good for the rodent is the wooden floor inside the house. Since rodents often do their business on the spot or inside the house, the moisture or urine soaks into the wood. So, it’s not entirely hygienic or healthy for the animal.
In my opinion: better to have a house without a floor.

Poor workmanship
Hello,
I think the little house is lovely. The size is fine too. However, the craftsmanship on mine is pretty poor. My hamster could nibble on the glue if he wanted to... before I sanded it down. I’m still not sure how to remove the base plate, we’ll see. It spans across two compartments.
Apart from that, it’s definitely worth recommending.
Best regards, especially to all teddy lovers :)
