The playhouse has 4 rooms. In the centre are the two dark sleeping areas, and the room at the back has a wooden ramp leading up to an entrance in the roof. Using the little round entrances, your hamster can scurry from room to room exploring, or snuggle down for a quick nap. The large roof of the cabin also provides a great surface for lying around or playing. It is totally natural and harmless for your pet to gnaw on this cabin - it is made of natural, untreated wood, and gnawing can help rodents to keep their teeth short and healthy.

Satisfied Rennies, but unhygienic
Ever since our daughter's Rennies got this little sleeping house, their behaviour completely changed overnight. They seem much more content and no longer obsessively try to constantly expand their dwelling.
Unfortunately, they've chosen a room with a wooden floor as their toilet. And now it smells absolutely awful. They diligently renew their nest and try to clean everything, but it doesn't really help. Now we need a new one.

The gerbils love it
Our mice love the house. They've settled into the middle chambers with kitchen roll paper and hay and enjoy running around in circles. I'm just curious how long it will last? They've already started gnawing at one corner.

Meh.
Basically a good idea, but the workmanship and hygiene leave much to be desired: the roof warps over time, so it no longer lies flat and rattles; the floor in the "pee corner" is difficult to clean.
It's best to remove the floor and screw two strips onto the underside of the roof to make it flat again. Then it can be used.

Very nice house, well made.
Small house with multiple compartments and 2 entrances. The roof is removable and can easily be lifted or pushed aside by the animals themselves in case of panic, as long as nothing is placed on top. If you have animals that don't tend to panic, there's plenty of space on the roof of the house for bowls, exercise wheels, or sand baths.

Species-appropriate little house
I think it's absolutely great as a house for hamsters since they need different chambers. However, I've now removed the bottom because hamsters also use one chamber as a toilet, and that quickly ruins the wood.

Knopf loves it!

Highly recommended!
At this price, you can't expect an extremely high-quality product, but I'm very satisfied. I was sceptical about whether it would meet the requirements, but everything is wonderful. It doesn't smell unpleasant, doesn't splinter, and since my elderly dwarf hamster doesn't gnaw much, the little house looks as good as new.

Super multi-chamber house for hamsters
Great house, the entrances are really quite large at 6 cm, and the different chambers are perfect for use as a sleeping area and a toilet area. Only my little one stores her food supplies somewhere else :-)
At our place, the chamber under the stairs is also used as a sleeping house. The roof is a bit loose, so we secured it on one side with a root, which now also serves as a staircase. She uses it just like a normal level.
I haven’t had any issues with splinters or glue.
