Having 8 cats we bulk buy. Have used all flavours of jameswellbeloved with no problems. Would like to see larger bags in light option though. As normal zooplus customer service and delivery are excellent. Yay zooplus.
iv been feeding my cats with JWB for years, foster cats too.the last bag of fish dried, 10kg has given everyone diarrhoea. have they changed the ingredients??
My two cats are very fussy and I tried various brands until I found James Wellbeloved cat food. They eat every piece and I am now on my fourth large bag and they show no signs of getting fed up with it. Both cats look really healthy and their coats feel soft and silky. Very happy and will continue to feed this food.
I have 6 cats, and they all really enjoy this dry food. They especially like the fish flavour. The quality of the ingredients list gives me peace of mind too. Highly recommended!
My cat adores this, goes crazy for it, just as she did the kitten version. This is nice. But the fact is she would eat it til the cows come home. And I wonder if its because of the fact it is only 26% fish and the rest is rice and maize so induces a chinese restaurant high white rice glycaemic appetite thing in my cat who is usually not greedy. I note it is £3.80 per kg whereas Applaws is £4.80 per kg but has 80% rather than 26% animal / fish protein. I've not tried applaws yet but..
I've tried various dry cat foods, but always come back to this one. My three long-haired cats all love it, there's no waste, and they are healthy and happy with beautiful coats (they also have wet food, so the James Wellbeloved dry is about 50% of their diet).
Our current rescue came to us saying she loves one type of food, but she seemed under weight and constantly looking at the not quiet half eaten food bowl meowing. So I bought her James Wellbeloved the food I've always chose for my cats and now her bowl is always clean and less mewling!
I've been feeding my cat on this for the past 5 years and he won't eat anything else. He even turns his nose up at tuna, salmon or chicken! James Wellbeloved contains no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives so I can feed it to him with confidence. Another big plus is it's made in the UK! There are cheaper cat foods but with JWB there's no waste, no mess, no flies and you really do get what you pay for. You only have to look at my cat's coat, bright eyes and excellent teeth to know he's eating quality food.
My Bengal cat, Daxter loves the fish flavour as well as the Duck and Turkey flavours. A super value dry food, well worth the money.
We always put a choice of biscuits down for our cats but my cats (all 4 of them) just love JWB the most.Lenny, the youngest, will always choose it above wet food. We have a stray ginger cat that invites himself in through the cat door and even he will choose James Wellbeloved!
This is one of my cats favourite dry food. I always bought them JW Turkey, but seeing how much they loved kitten fish version, I got them this one. Was bit worried, but two of my cats absolutely love these biscuits, so JW Fish will be definitely on our shopping list.
We ordered a smaller pack and both ladies eat it quite well, especially the smaller one. Being fussy about their food and having giveaways almost with anything new, they seem to find this food tasty. The ingredients are great so we shall order a bigger pack next time. Also Arden Grange Chicken passed the test and they eat quite well the Purr- Nickety with salmon&chicken from Meowingheads .So some quality food is appreciated and we prefer better ingredients for their health.Thank you zooplus for some quality cat food. Smaller portions with better quality food is our preference.
Two Siamese love it - two black cats love it. They have not tired of it so far and prefer the Turkey. No sickness and healthy cats with clean teeth. Cheaper to buy the huge bags but remember to have airtight containers to keep it in as they don;t like it if not crisp. Dogs do though!
After years of trying almost all the market foods a new local vet said try jwb....woo (chocolate point siamese)had always thrown up once a week on royal canin.which was ok to me. As a kitten she was had a Diagnosis of food intolerance to most foods .drove me mad. Other siamese i have seen get alot of weepy pussy eyes and pull hair out alot....which woo did less frequent with royal canin. Most siamese get given expensive probiotic powder supplement which still didnt stop any of the signs of intolerance. Then as they say tried jwb and had 2 throw ups in 4 weeks to start ...and now nothing. Shes happy .eyes are are better doesnt pull hair out as much...result. Tried both flavours .all good . I Mix the two together so hopefully not tire of it in the long run ...or get over sensity Well recommend it and great value too. Any other reviews posted i look forward too .tc.
This is a really good quality and affordable food for cats. I have 2 cats who both love this dry food. 1 can eat anything and everything and 1 has so many food intolerances she can only eat lamb and fish. Thier coats look shiney and skin is healthy. I always buy the fish and lamb dry food from Jameswellbeloved!
Great variety of food for my cats. Great ingredients, brilliant that it is made in the UK. Loved by all three of my moggies.
My cat loves this food, I changed her onto this as she had lost some hair & thought it could be from a food intolerance. Her fur is in good condition, lovely & smooth. She is not interested in anything else apart from a small amount of fresh tuna. Very happy cat!
Our boy Oliver - one of four British Shorthairs - had a sensitive tummy as a kitten and James Wellbeloved was recommended by our vet as being gentle on the stomach. And it was true. That was three years ago and we were so delighted we have used this great food ever since.
I have been feeding my cat this food since she was a kitten, after trying several flavours this was the clear winner. The ingredients list is as it should be (everything she needs without sugars etc.) and my cat loves it so I have never had cause to change to another brand. I have recently stared adding some Hills Oral Care kibbles to it just to help keep her teeth clean. It really is great food I highly recommend it.
I've always fed my 3 cats on fish based foods - They've had wet food (ending in wet & smelly you know whats!) and all sorts of dry foods - but they ended up getting very dry, flaky skin and poor coats. I tried James Wellbeloved on recommendation for sensitive skins and the cats alway loved it (I have one picky eater inparticular). Anyway, over the last year, 2 of my cats (who are sisters) have developed skin problems - 1 worse than the other. It now turns out that the skin problem is protein related and its because of the fish based food they've been having! At the moment, we've been advised to try a different flavour/protein (ie, JW Duck) and so far her skin has cleared up. So, I'm not sure if my cat developed an allergy/intolerance, like humans do, from having too much of one thing, in this case, fish based food! My advice would be to perhaps change your proteins now and again...I have no problem with James Wellbeloved food itself - and my cats always find it tasty!
Our Bella wasn't keen on wet food and picked at other brands of dry food. We got free sample packets of JWB at the Fell Gather in Cockermouth and she wolfed it down. Bella loves it, her coat is shiny too.
Our tom cat would fairly often bring back a meal when we used to feed him the foods from supermarkets that use vague descriptions like, 'Meat and animal derivatives.' Since getting him off the more commercial brands and onto JWB, I can say that it is very rare for him to bring back his food. His coat has become much softer too! Ginger and Mitzi would recommend it :-)
