Been buying Rocco for 3 years for my 'severely allergic to life' labrador, as it once was a great single protein dog food. But no more. It is basically 1/3 solidified fat, which I would expect some, but not to the amount that the tins now have. There has definitely been a recipe change to cheapen the ingredients and increase the profits. It was giving my dog serious tummy troubles, so we've had to find an alternative.

Done with Rocco. As others have mentioned, the amount of fat in the tins is growing. I usually order 96-120 x 800g tins at a time and most of them arrive with dents and some even split open. Most would blame the courier, but they're just not packaged well enough at all. Recently some flavours have been really grey and have weird reddish brown clots in them, the beef with chicken has a load of jelly and liquid and the tins aren't even full. All this and prices have doubled in the last few years

I’ve been using this food for a while as it sorted out my cockers runny poop, however, the last batch I received is so full of fat it’s ridiculous there are little globules of thick white fat all the way through and a thick layer at the bottom of the tin, not only has this caused my dog to have runny poop again but he’s also put on a lot of weight in a short space of time so I now have to diet him. I won’t be buying this again when it runs out I’m going to look for an alternative

I do not know what happened but j have bought Rocco for a while now and it always used to be full of meat and not much of anything else. Now however it seems to be a large percentage of jelly and alot of questionable looking pieces of "meat" Something has clearly changed in the production because this is not a one off. This is the third occasion this has happened. At first I thought It could just be a batch or 2 that are bad but now I know this is not the case.

I found disgusting hairy pieces inside can. I will never buy it again. Shocking how poor quality control is with checking those cans.. Don't buy it.

gave all three of my dogs the runs and i intrduced it slowly ,waste of money

What a disappointment! I paid a high price for 6 cans of Green Tripe and I get just 30% of it, or of whatever, and the rest is water! Mydogs turned their noses up and walked away! It smells nothing like tripe, probably cheap meat from different sources; a great disappointment! No wonder I have never heard of this food. How can adog food be complete with just meat and minerals? No vegetables, no rice or grains? We dog owners know more than you think!

Our dog got really bad diarrhoea after eating this food. We changed the food and the problem stopped. We’d bought other flavours before and never had an issue, but with the salmon one we had to stop giving it to him.

Unfortunately, my dog gets diarrhoea from these. So I’ll have to switch to something else.

The meat is grey and you can see strange discolourations.

The manufacturer claims it's pure beef! But the can only contains liver and lung organs! Not a single gram of meat! We're sorry, but people need to be warned about what's inside!

I've been buying this dog food for a few months, but the last delivery was an unpleasant, smelly surprise. My dog wouldn't even go near his bowl, and out of the whole delivery, only a few cans were okay.

We were very satisfied with the product over the past few years – unfortunately, we switched to something else two months ago because it happened several times that the beef in the can seemed to have been exposed to extreme temperatures, was all clumped together and smelled awful! Honestly, I find it unbelievable that it can’t be clarified between the reseller and the supplier who will compensate us for the damage. We haven’t received any response to our complaint for months – embarrassing service (and that goes for everyone involved!!!!)

Not good at all

I don't know what happened to this dog food. I've been buying it for several years and never had any problems. However, the latest delivery is a product with a very unpleasant smell, a slimy texture, and a noticeably different colour. My dog absolutely refuses to eat it, even though he used to eat everything without any issues before. I have serious concerns about the quality of this batch.

A good part has to be thrown away because there are quite a few pieces, both small and very large, of white fat that cover the bottom of the tin for a couple of centimetres, as well as mixing in with the rest of the meat in smaller pieces, making it difficult or impossible to remove them.

My dog has had diarrhoea ever since he started eating these tins. Returned them. Zooplus is great, but these tins are a disaster.

I’ve ordered Rocco Poultry Hearts several times, and my dogs have had diarrhoea because of them more than once. How can that be? They always used to tolerate them :(

The quality of Rocco dog food in the 800g cans has gotten much worse. It contains a lot more white "fat" or whatever that is. My dog hardly eats it anymore and I have to throw a lot away. I guess I'll have to switch to a different wet food.
