Our Poochon absolutely loved this food, as did our two Visla's whenever they managed to get their paws on some. I had to add a little bit to their bowls as they stopped eating their usual food out of protest. The dry food and the tin food both have a strong meaty smell which enticed the dogs. The texture of the wet tin food is like a smooth pate. We received the food as a free trial from the Home Tester Club. Mo our Poochon is a little over weight, he lost 1/2 kilo over the trial period.

I used to feed my dog a whole can once a day. It's very easy to eat because it's just a pate, smells nice, has a good composition, and most importantly, I see a big difference after a few weeks. She used to have problems with runny, irregular poops, sometimes diarrhea, and now she regularly have toilet twice a day, producing healthy, firm poop, and no diarrhea. My dog had been put on a diet by my vet. This is just the thing she needed. She has a long way to go as she needs to lose 4kg. When I weighed the food for the first time it really didn’t look like enough but I did as instructed. My dog doesn’t seem hungry with the portion recommended. Her bowel movements have changed as well as her starting to lose her weight. The wet food looks a bit pasty but it enabled me to spread it in a slow feeder so she has to lick it out, slowing her eating down

First impressions the size of the food is the perfect size for my dogs to eat and even from the first try I ended up with empty bowls. My golden Labrador loves to eat Hill’s prescription diet wet and dry food. They are both a complete diet food wile helping to reduce body weight and maintaining it. She looks happy with the kibble and wet food, it is gone in a flash. Easy to store and can be bought in bulk. She loves it. Recomended. We were sent 3 boxes of tins of this food and a big bag of the biscuits for our dog to try out. She is an 8 year old Pug x Chinese crested. her name is Tallulah, and as she is the build of a pug, she has put on a little weight. We have gradually introduced her to the food, and she seems to thoroughly enjoy both the meat and the biscuits. After being on it for a couple of weeks, she does not seem as lethargic as she was before, and even seems a little leaner ! I totally recommend this food.

Our Bonny is absolutely thrilled with Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET Metabolic. It has a lovely fresh scent and is very well tolerated. Her weight has gone down, and even her coat is shiny again and feels soft! Truly an excellent dog food.

The smell is very pleasant, and combined with the dry food, it has helped my dog lose 3 kilos. No more bloating. We will definitely continue, as he can still shed a few more pounds. The food is also suitable for maintaining his weight afterwards.

The wet food is the highlight for my dog. She tolerates it just as well as the dry food, but you can hardly keep up with how quickly she devours it. Thanks to the food, her figure has visibly improved, and she has lost weight. She’s got much more energy than before and is noticeably more agile and fitter. In summary, we love it.

Great product, I would gladly recommend it – my dog loves the taste!

The product is highly recommended. Our Labrador female tolerated it excellently. There was no allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in the food. As far as I can tell (a Lab always has an appetite!), she has enjoyed it immensely to this day. After comparing her weight measurements from the start of feeding Hills Prescription Diet METABOLIC, our dog lost weight from 35.5 kg to 32 kg over a period of about 8 weeks, with the trend continuing downward. Her feeling of hunger is almost unchanged compared to other dog foods. However, the effect is absolutely noticeable on the scales! The vet advises continuing the feeding in the same way until the desired weight of around 30 kg is reached. We’re definitely sticking with it. Since then, our dog has become significantly more agile and now enthusiastically enjoys her walks again. From our perspective, this food is a clear recommendation to buy!!!

My dog really enjoyed the food, though unfortunately, she has to go number two more often because of it. But that just shows it's doing its job – she's already a bit lighter on the scales. The food still lasts us plenty!

The food was gladly eaten right from the start. Since we started feeding her this food, she only gets the recommended daily amount for her weight. You can already see a difference. She has actually lost weight and is a bit more agile again. I will continue feeding it.
