Chappie Original has been a lifesaver for many dogs with sensitive stomachs, recommended by vets and loved by pets. However, recent changes in the recipe have left many owners disappointed, with complaints about altered texture, smell, and increased grain content. Despite these issues, some dogs still enjoy it, and it remains a valued option for those seeking an affordable wet food solution. Overall, Chappie has been a trusted choice, but recent changes have stirred mixed feelings.

Change in recipe
Unfortunately Chappie Original is not as good as it used to be, the recipe appears to have changed again, it is very dry and much paler in colour, I wish I had kept an older empty tin to see what is different now. This is not helpful when one of my dogs has allergies but Chappie original didn’t cause him any issues, he now refuses to eat!
