My 9 year old Maltese weighs a touch over 3kg and struggles to chew most dry food with his tiny teeth. Luckily I found this X-Small Mature 8+ on the Royal Canin page. The tiny pieces are great for my Maltese. He loves his food and digests it perfectly, no diarrhea or anything like that, even though I switched him over from one day to the next. I give them BARF but since I don't want them eating raw food twice a day there is one meal a day of dry food. I hope the new pup will like this one too.
