Hi, I’ve a very active 9 month old puppy who goes through fazes of eating won’t eat, I got this he loved it, but now a few weeks in he’s not eating it. To be totally honest I’d get fed up of the same thing very day. I don’t want to change his food again. But he’s a Romanian Shepard and they often become intolerant to chicken. Is there another flavour I can purchase anywhere? Lamb, Salmon. Just to give him a bit of variety? Thank you

This is a nice mid price range food. I had my dog on a more expensive brand for his itchy skin, but having changed to this brand I've found very little difference between the two brands. He looks good on the food, and it keeps him dandruff free with minimal itching. Can't comment on palatability as my dog will eat anything! If you're looking for a good quality food at a reasonable price then Proplan is a good brand to try.

The breeder used Purina pro plan athletic puppy and I continued my Labrador on it, he’s always loved it, is in great condition and I’ve never had any problems with it I’m changing now, only because I need some big boy food! Highly recommend

Switched to this after Concept For Life discontinued their giant breed puppy food and couldn't be happier. My 8 month old Leonberger loves it and it's great value for money too! Always delivered within 1-2 days. We will be keeping to this food indefinitely through to adulthood

Started out with a food recommended by the breeders for our growing Leonberger Pup. Unfortunately this brand was discontinued shortly after and it took us a short while to find something he loved. I cannot fault this food. Our pup loves it, it's packaged well, delivered in good time and can't fault the Leonberger design on the front either! Will be using this brand for however long it exists!

They love this food. They have so much more energy since eating this food and don't leave any.The vet even commented how perfect their weight is and they have the perfect amount of muscle. I love these projects because it gives us chance to try new things and in this case change to those products. The furbabies faeces is a lot better since using this too. No runny nasty smelling poos, which is great, because it shows this food is great for their digestive system.

My cavapoo puppy is thriving on this … you can tell just by looking at it and comparing with other brands just what a good quality food it is!

2 years I have tried different foods because my British bulldog is so sensitive, always tried the ones with high percentage of fresh meat, wish I had just tried this one first was put off by lack of meat bit its a godsend just used my first bag and my girl is thriving on it from day 1 no runs no huge sloppy poops just small firm ones twice a day, over the moon, thankyou purina will never doubt you again

My boxer puppy can eating just this food.She have so sensitiv stomach and try a lot of kind dogs food but always she have diarrhea or womiting.When try this food stops all diarrhea

My boy suffered from stomach issues when fed chicken based kibble. When I changed him to Pro Plan's Salmon and Rice recipe his poops were normal within the first full feed! If your dog is intolerant to chicken I would definitely give this a try.

My labrador loves this food. While I was switching him from another band and mixing the feed, he was picking out the kibbles from the Pro Plan. He is doing very well on it.

I gave this to my first akita and had no issues So I give to my new akita who when he was a puppy was on royal canin junior, it didn't agree with him, so moved him to salmon and rice, which he loves and even licks the bowl clean.

Our dog suffered from upset stomach and wind! This food seems to have solved the problems!!

My border collie/lab cross suffered with really itchy skin. To the point where he would bite sections of his back raw. Vet did tests and couldn't find anything, so suggested hypoallergenic food. So I tried virtually all the food available on this site without much luck. He didn't like the food and it didn't stop the itching. Then just about to give up, tried this Purina stuff and it's brilliant. He loves the food, and it's totally eradicated the itchiness! Great stuff!

I've had my ex racing greyhound for just over 18 months now, during that time we have tried a variety of brands and formulas trying to find a food that worked well for him, PPP was finally the food that worked for us. Our dog now has text book perfect stools, his dandruff has disappeared, his coat is shiny, and his energy levels well balanced. My dog loves the food and it clearly loves him too!
