Lukullus Single Meat Beef

After months spent looking for kibble my dog could stomach (he doesn't tolerate chicken or grain) we finally found this one that his stomach agreed with just a couple months ago. The new recipe is not going down well at all so now back to square one. Went for the same single meat beef recipe, not seeing the recipe had changed, and now I'm stuck with 24 kgs of unusable kibble and £64 out of pocket. Needless to say we will swiftly find another brand and another platform to buy from.

It is not single protein

I bought this having used it several times in the past. To my horror, the new recipe has replaced 22% potatoes with 26% Maize and 20% fresh beef with 24% peas - avoid at all costs!

Haven't ordered as luckily we checked the ingredients first. Sold as single meat but they have added chicken fat. Not good when you have a dog with a severe chicken allergy. Beware if ordering.

The composition has become terrible. Everyone should check it before buying. It USED TO be really good!

Our dog always had Single Meat Beef and never had any problems. Since the new recipe, he’s had constant diarrhoea and I just can’t feed him this food anymore. The new recipe seems to be miles away from the old one…

They used to have a good quality-price ratio and suited my dogs really well, but now it's HORRIBLE because they've changed the formula for the worse. My dogs have gotten sick with diarrhoea, and every time they try it, they feel awful.

The new recipe is a massive downgrade in quality: the fresh meat and chondroprotectors have disappeared completely, replaced by corn, loads of peas, and cheap protein powder. The manufacturer has turned a decent Grain-Free product into a budget food full of allergens and plant fillers, yet kept the same shelf price. An extremely poor quality-to-price ratio, which I do not recommend. All Zooplus own brands have become a joke lately!

Compared to the original, the new recipe is rubbish. It contains much less animal protein. Fresh beef has been replaced with corn, and potatoes with peas. Any manufacturer who does something like this is best avoided for all their other products as well.

They are not cold-pressed

3 days ago I started feeding them the new recipe...OMG...my dogs are super gassy and have diarrhoea. Never had any issues with the old recipe. Why did they change it so much?

They have changed the composition of the product without any notice. The new formula is much, much worse than the previous one, as they replaced beef with corn and peas. I really do not recommend buying this to anyone.

In the new recipe, they replaced fresh beef with peas, so while the old recipe contained 28% beef protein and 20% raw beef, the new one only has 26% beef protein, with the raw beef being replaced by peas.
