Very tasty
My doggies don’t eat everything, but they absolutely love this.
Nothing else anymore.
High meat content, very good.

Shepherd mix, 12 years old, Paula
Recommended. She seems to prefer these small chunks over the larger ones from other brands.

More poop
I tried this food as it was on offer on zoo plus. I feed my bichons grainfree and thought I'd give this food a go as it's a top end quality food
Kibble are a lovely size but I found that they were pooing larger amounts compared to what they were depositing on their previous food. They would poop little balls of poop before but on this food it was softer and I'd say treble the amount they would normally poop. Think I'll be going back to my old grain free food

Highly recommended!
When this food goes into the bowl, our little pug girl goes absolutely crazy. (For our "big one", I feed the larger kibbles!) Simply a really good grain-free dog food! - We're sticking with it! -

Very satisfied!
I am very satisfied, my dog likes it. We always have problems with diarrhoea when switching food, even when introducing it gradually, but he has tolerated this food brilliantly from the start. He only needs to go once now, whereas before he would always make 2-3 piles.

Works for my Lhasa apso!
I have recently switched to this food from royal canin. I changed because one of my dogs was having lots of tummy troubles and this food really seems to have done the trick so we are all much happier! Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that my dogs seem to much prefer the taste of Royal canin and spat this out when it was in the mix! Now that the RC is gone they are eating it without any fuss. Nice small kibble pieces too!

Chunk size only suitable for small dogs
Although I’m really convinced by the composition of the food, the size of the kibble for medium-sized dogs is a joke! Triangular, with a maximum edge length of 1cm. On top of that, the food is so crumbled, presumably due to transport, that it can no longer be used as treats for on the go. I’m very disappointed!
My dog doesn’t particularly like eating it either, as she’s very picky. Such a shame!

Good food
Lovely coat and very well tolerated, the kibble pieces aren't too big, so my Chihuahua can eat it easily, and our Boxer girl loves it too!

My dog immediately loved them
My little 2 y/o Lhassa loved them from the moment they hit the bowl. Before, she ate Eukanuba or Acana. Acana is a really good brand because they use wonderful ingredients. I think Applaws also offer a great product, and my dog can't seem to get enough of it. It's been a few days now, but I think I've found the one. I had the chicken and lamb.

After 6 years of searching, I’ve finally found it!
I’m absolutely thrilled!
My dog isn’t particularly interested in food in general. She’s healthy and fit, but has always been quite slim. She usually only eats her food when she’s really hungry. This time, it was different :)) She would have eaten a large portion straight away if I’d let her. However, I didn’t want to overdo it. She tolerates the food very well. The pieces are a good size (triangular, about 1cm but flat). I’m also impressed with the composition. It gives a very high-quality impression.
I’ll stick with it, and now my cats are also getting "Applaws" (for cats, of course!) :))

After 6 years of searching I have found it
I am over the moon!
My dog isn't too fussed about food in general. She is healthy and fit, but rather on the skinny side. She usually only eats when she's really really hungry!! But not this time. She could have eaten twice as much if I'd let her, but I didn't wanna overdo it at the start. The pieces are a good size (1cm triangles). The mixture is great, gives you a really confident feeling.
I'm gonna stick with it from now on :))

Top quality food
I cannot recommend this food highly enough. My Golden Retriever suffered from sporadic seizures since she was six months old (she's now almost 9). The vet could not pinpoint why. After a lot of research, I decided three years ago to completely change her diet to Applaws & a small amount of fresh meat. She has not had another seizure since - I can only assume her previous food contained something artificial that did not agree with her. Both my dogs love this food & eat with gusto. I buy two 7.5kg bags at a time so save a little money, the quality of the food is well worth it. Zooplus have been excellent - I recently received a bag that had split in transit. They replaced this with no quibble. Excellent service from zooplus.

I am convinced
I’m absolutely convinced by the composition of the food. Simply top-notch. Unfortunately, I bought the food from Zooplus before my sweet little lady arrived :( she doesn’t like eating it. But that’s not Zooplus’s fault.

I am convinced
This mixture is a winner! Just great. I bought it before my puppy arrived and unfortunately she doesn't like the taste. But of course that's nothing to do with zooplus. Great product at a great price.

A winner
My working cocker came with a 'small appetite'. He actually turned out to be fussy with a sensitive tummy and after trying several brands settled on Applaws. He has a half tray of Applaws meat in the evening on top of kibble and we have found that this sits well on his stomach. Tried Lily's Kitchen but we end up with nasty smells with it.

The Best Dry Food
In my opinion, this is the best dry dog food available at Zooplus. We initially bought it as the "Reward of the Month" for just a few points. I probably wouldn’t have purchased it just to try it out, as I do find it quite expensive. From the very first day, both of our dogs loved it and found it incredibly easy to digest. Our older dog tolerated it better than almost any other food. Over time, we’ve tested quite a few dry dog foods with our dogs, and we firmly believe that Applaws is the best dry food out there! Once our current supplies run out, we’ll only be buying Applaws from now on.

My dog loves it!
I also got the 2 kg trial pack with the bonus points. My dog is a bit fussy, and we spent ages trying to finally find a dry food that’s healthy (and most importantly grain-free) and that he actually likes. We found one, but now we’ve got Applaws, and the other dry food that he used to enjoy is completely ignored... And we still have about 7 kg of it left! Now we’re using it up as treats (strangely enough, he’ll still eat it that way), and I’m going to buy him a big bag of Applaws straight away. What wouldn’t you do for your little prince :-).
What does puzzle me a bit, though, is that you can’t seem to find a large number of customer reviews or even a test anywhere online. Other dog owners don’t seem to know Applaws either. Is the food new to the market? And it’s from the UK. Hmm, maybe I should stick to a German product after all? I’ll treat my dog to one bag now, and then we’ll see how it goes. There’s certainly plenty of choice out there.
