Love it or hate it, you decide.
My Jack Russell loves tripe wether it be a wet or dry variety but these particular dried strips she just will not eat. I don't know if it's the texture or the strange smell which is something even I'm not used to. It is a real shame because every other type of treat or brand of dog food I've purchased from zooplus these past 2 years she has eaten. 99% out of 100 can't be bad.

Great for a small dog with bad teeth
My ageing rescue terrier has lost a lot ot teeth over the years so she can't handle most chews on the market. This dried tripe is perfect - not too hard, easy to rip up if a piece is too big, and no sharp edges to damage her old gums.
Batches differ
Good batch. Got these a couple of years ago and cut them into peices for my little Jackapoo, she loves them, the next two bags were a bit iffy, some good peices others needed throwing, had whitish type mould on them. Happy to say I decided to try them again after many months, the bag I recieved today looks great, all peices look fine, cut one up and was eaten without hesitation. So batches differ in quality but if you get a good bag, dogs love them.

Can your dog stomach these?
Between air dried chicken feet and these little beauties it's hard to determine which my Parson Jack Russell likes best.
As it takes her a while to finish one of these treats off I tend to give her one at bed time. Once finished to gets a long drink of water then retires fir the night.
6am she wakes me up for her morning walk and she's raring to go. Full of energy.
Satisfied!

Something has changed!
Rocco tripe was my Dogs favourite type of tripe, we've been getting it for her for years...she loves that stink! Sadly this last batch has made her beyond thirsty...shes's drinking bowls of water after having a piece. It's like it''s salty or something, it really isn't right. Please look into this Rocco and change your suppliers!

Dried Tripe
This is a great natural and healthy high protein treat for dogs - who love it
small pieces of tripe
Last order I got tripe pieces were small so no good for large dogs

Upset tummies
I think having given these to my 8 dogs 4 of them have had upset tummies runny diarrhoea this has happened few times and these seem to be common denominator
Makes my dogs VERY thirsty.
I shall not be ordering this again. I've had another make of tripe sticks (Hollings) which the dogs thoroughly enjoy without driving them to the waterfowl.

Rocco Green Tripe
I bought these for my Aredale , the first few orders were perfect nice big and chewy strips. The last two ( 2.5 KG ) orders, the quality was very poor The bags contained very small hard pieces I ended up throwing them out as they were not suitable to give to my dog

Thanks very much
Great for teething puppy something they will always love

Poor quality and expensive
I have been buying Rocco tripe for several years and during this time it has gone markedly down in quality while going up in price. Some pieces are so hard it would take a hammer to even make a dent and others are so soft it resembles balsa wood. What used to make my dogs run around in excitement now barely raises any interest. Won’t be buying again until the quality and price improves

My dog is still crazy about this treat :)
First time I bought it about year ago and it was perfect. When I was thinking about buying it again I wasn’t sure about the quality of the product because last 5-6 comments was negative. I decided to take a risk and ordered the biggest pack again. I’m not disappointed. It looks and smells the same for me and my dog loves it. Thank you.

Strip of fabric
My dogs love these, partly because they stink so much I am sure! However, the last bag had a strip of inch wide fabric that was about 6" long. It looked just like a piece of the tripe so we were lucky to spot it in time. I wont risk buying them again.

Product has changed.
We have been happily buying this product for years. Last year we found the tripe was smaller pieces and incredibly hard but the worst thing was, after eating a piece my spaniel would then spend the next several hours back and forth to her water bowl
with an unquenchable thirst.
We thought we would try it again this year but no, sadly it is still having the same effect which I can only put down to the drying process, do they use smokers or something?
Won't be buying again.
Used to be great
This product has changed from the substantial, slightly elastic pieces that my dog loves to something very small, dusty, dry (possibly too old?), crumbly and unappetising. Won't order this make again.
Not what it was
Have been buying this for a year. Probably bought 3 lots of the 5kg bag. Carried on buying because my dog loved it. I can't break it into smaller pieces because it is so hard and have also found the quality very variable. But she turned her nose up at the last bag and even though she did eventually eat it she was nowhere near as keen as she used to be. I thought maybe we were just unlucky. New bag full of really tiny pieces and quite a lot of dust. Probably the end of this for us.

waste of money
I've been treating my dogs to dried beef tripe for many years, had a first go at rocco, bought 5 kilo even and it is unbelievably bad.
it doesn't smell like tripe, more like plastic, it doesn't feel like tripe and my dog, who would kill for her dried tripe treat didn't even want it.
I'm really peeved at spending 35 pound for something that will end up in the bin and I am very, very diasappointed with zooplus as I have never had any complaints about any other articles I've bought.

Gone downhill
Been buying this for years and last week a new 5kg bag, it's now very hard and brittle and smells nothing like tripe, I can't even explain the smell it's weird, waste of money at I'm going to bin it at can't trust its ok

Good price
I bought two packs my dogs love tripe and this is a mess free way of feeding it to them while strengthening their jaws and helping to keep their teeth healthy!

Something has changed
We like it, I've ordered it several times before, but in the latest bag there were 3-4 pieces that were so hard my husky dogs couldn't eat them.

Doesn't even want to go near it
Very bad, neither my Mini Schnauzer nor my brother’s American Staffordshires like it... Other supermarket brands from the competition, they really enjoy, but this brand... neither this nor the ox nerve has been liked by any of them. I won’t buy it again.

The best treat
I don't get the reviews that criticise the product just because it stinks! The tripe we eat isn't odourless either! Obviously, dried tripe has a nasty smell for us—newsflash: tripe is where the poo passes through 🤷🏻♀️ That said, it's an excellent product for our doggies, with pieces that range in texture from soft to very hard depending on thickness, so it keeps things interesting for them. Apparently 100% natural, unless humans expect tripe to smell like roses!

They look like leftovers
The bag is very large and can't be resealed, the pieces are small, greasy, and very salty. At the bottom there's at least 5 cm of unusable powder. Once I got a bit past halfway, I think I'll just throw it all away.

Not suitable for small dogs
Pieces are too hard, my little dog didn't want it. The smell is quite strong. Maybe it's more suitable for medium and large dogs.

I'm really not exaggerating, it truly smells like rot.
I have serious doubts about whether this product is actually suitable to be given as a treat for animals. It just reeks of decomposition, to the point that opening the packet honestly makes you want to throw up. I really can't believe that food could smell this bad.

Super snacks!
Absolutely my favourite super treats (mainly given for special achievements like bravery during nail clipping, ear cleaning, etc.), safe for the dog and a generous amount at a good price, I've been buying them for years 😊

Good chew toy
The dog always eats it with gusto, licking his lips, and digests it very well, even though we have issues with his bowel movements. We've been using it as a treat for about 4 months now and our dog is very happy. It's a great way to keep him occupied for a while. Sometimes you do get a batch with smaller pieces, but not always. I highly recommend it.

The quality has dropped a lot
My dog has been eating this brand’s tripe since he was a puppy, but unfortunately, after more than a year, the quality of the product is clearly worse. My dog got diarrhoea and vomited. The first time, I thought it was just a coincidence and that he’d probably eaten something outside, since he’s always eaten this tripe. The second time, I started to suspect the tripe, and by the third time, I was sure. I even feel like the smell and texture are different now. Never again. This product could poison your pet!

5 kg
Burnt tripe dish, be careful
I've been using this product for years and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, Rocco put a batch of BURNT tripe on the market and Zooplus is distributing it. I complained and they sent me a replacement 5 kg pack from the same batch, just as burnt. I complained again and received another 5 kg, identical to the others. BURNT. Now I'm waiting for them to come and collect it. The proposed date was today, but they still haven't managed to come. One star for Rocco and one star for Zooplus, for their carelessness.

Are being chewed
My Miniature Bull Terrier is a real "gobbler": he tries to swallow anything he can (and if he can't, it comes back up for a second try). But not with these tripe treats! He chews them thoroughly.

Excellent
Tripe was the first snack I got for my little one, 15 years ago, when she discovered it at her friends’ house 😁 and since then it’s been a must-have. At first, I used to give it to her in whole strips—it helped keep her chewing muscles active and cleaned her teeth (despite the smell, haha). Now that they’re older, I cut it into smaller pieces because they love the taste but can’t chew as well anymore. The oldest little one is 16, the middle one is 14, and the youngest is 13.
