Our staffy-x loves this, and it's survived his chewing and shredding for 3 weeks, which is better going than most. It does shed bits, but they are cotton so I think more dog-safe than nylon? Great for games of tug - plenty of room along it for your hands to be a safe distance from their mouth. It's quite heavy rope, though, so you want to step back if they shake their toys as it then turns into a formidable cosh...

The rope is popular and gets taken apart into its individual strands over the course of several days. In the process, it cleans the spaces between the teeth, and once it’s completely frayed, a replacement is provided. A natural-coloured version would be nice.

The rope gives a robust and sturdy impression when unpacked, and I was really pleased with it. However, our little one is an extreme chewer, and unfortunately, I had to dispose of the rope after just an hour of use. All the threads were pulled out and chewed up. I decided to throw it away rather than risk the dog swallowing all the threads. Otherwise, I can't rate the product as bad. It just seems like there's nothing our dog can't destroy.

My collie loves this toy. After a while the end starts to fall apart, but this is after he has gotten a lot of use out of it. A great, simple toy that is surprisingly difficult to find!

This is the only toy that has lasted forever without needing to be replaced! Only a few threads get pulled out now and then, but for my little destroyer, that's harmless :D The perfect toy for tearers!!!

This lasted about five minutes before Ellie had bits of it all over the floor! Waste of money, I will give her a carrot in future.

Great, durable rope! My dog is quite strong, and we play with it almost every day (tug-of-war games). So far, he hasn’t managed to damage it even a little bit! Highly recommended, even for large dogs :)

I’ve now bought this rope toy for the second time. But not because the first one broke—no, the first one unfortunately got lost during our move. I actually wanted to order a second one anyway since we have two dogs (a Boxer and a Boxer-Bordeaux Mastiff mix). Before the move, it wasn’t really necessary because one of them always has to have the toy that the other one is playing with. ;-) I have to say, this is the best rope toy we’ve ever had. It’s practically indestructible, even when both dogs (around 30kg and over 35kg) are pulling and tugging at it—whether one is on each side or both are pulling together. The old rope toy was over a year old and would still “survive,” even if it wasn’t quite as nice-looking anymore due to daily play. :-D Simply a fantastic product. I can only recommend it!!! Shipping was completed in less than 24 hours after ordering. Just brilliant.

Tried loads of toys, unfortunately, all of them were rubbish, but this one... brilliant! It's very sturdy, and my two (Boxer and American Bulldog) have loads of fun with it. Definitely 5 stars from me!

After all the positive reviews, I expected more. Our Briard (6 months old) managed to tear apart the holding strap within just 2 days. I give the rest a maximum of 2 weeks. The points are for the fun our dog has with it.

We've bought this rope several times now. Our dog constantly drags it around, so it's always completely torn apart after about two weeks :) Great thing!

The rope is simply brilliant! My Dalmatian has it at his disposal and "works on it" several times a day. Even tug-of-war games with other four-legged friends are no problem. The rope still looks almost as good as new! We've even washed it (only recommended in summer, as otherwise it doesn't dry properly and starts to smell). Definitely recommend buying it!
