Unfortunately, it only lasted 3 days before our dog managed to chew through it...

The rope gives a robust and sturdy impression when unpacked, and I was really pleased with it. However, our little one is an extreme chewer, and unfortunately, I had to dispose of the rope after just an hour of use. All the threads were pulled out and chewed up. I decided to throw it away rather than risk the dog swallowing all the threads. Otherwise, I can't rate the product as bad. It just seems like there's nothing our dog can't destroy.

After all the positive reviews, I expected more. Our Briard (6 months old) managed to tear apart the holding strap within just 2 days. I give the rest a maximum of 2 weeks. The points are for the fun our dog has with it.

My 1-year-old Kangal male figured out after a week that he could unravel and dismantle the rope into individual pieces. After two weeks, the rope now looks more like a ball of wool with a knot still in it. Nevertheless, he loves the thing, plays with it on his own, carries it around or flings it across the room. So, for larger dogs that love to chew, it does need to be replaced after a while. Conclusion: fine for occasional fun, saves the sofa; a pity it’s not a bit more durable.

The rope is too loosely twisted, which makes it easy to tear apart. We previously had a different brand that was tighter and harder and lasted muuuuuuch longer. Otherwise, it's a great toy – the dogs love it. It just gets too expensive given its short lifespan...
