Kong do an octopus made from a very sturdy fabric which I bought elsewhere, but which has lasted months. I hoped this was a similar quality but my retriever destroyed it in a couple of hours. Please Zooplus have a look at the stronger alternative.

My puppy enjoys playing with his octopus and despite ripping the eyes out, which he has been known to do with other toys, it has lasted very well and is still intact.

My dog loves this toy, it soft, has a squeaker in it and it has some crispy crackle sound stuffing too. He is careful with his toys and never attempts to shred them. I don't think it would last long with a toy destroying dog though lol

My puppy Cavapoo absolutely adores this toy. He loves to retrieve as well as chew on its tentacles! Washes up perfectly and still going strong. Ticks every box.

My 6 month old doberman LOVED this. I had to only let him play with it for 15 mins tho before he started thorough stress testing. The next day the session ended because he'd ripped the stitching and the white fluff was coming out... So he'd succeeded in ripping it up in less than an hour of play. Sad times as he really liked killing it ...

I gave this to my puppy and he had ripped into it and was extracting stuffing before I'd even finished unpacking the order. It looked good though!! Waste of money. Not Kongs usual standard of toy.

My dog loved this toy however unlike other king toys it was not long before he had the stuffing coming out. I ended removing the insides and he still has fun with what is left hence the 3stars

My Jack Russell loves Octi. I throw, he retrieves and shakes the life out of this toy. So far, he has not damaged Octi at all - proof of durability!

Size small was perfect for our bichon. She started playing with the toy instantly and it's her favourite at the moment. She loves the squeaker! Has lasted well so far, although our dogs are not chewers.

This has been so far my favourite looking toy, it's honestly adorable! My 3 month old Podengo pup superglued himself to this toy straight away, was his all time favourite. However once his adult teeth had come though he made pretty quick work of it and had torn a hole in the top half and taken out the squeaker and the stuffing.

The large toy is a fantastic size for my Hungarian vizsla, she absolutely adores it and it's proven to be very durable. We have had it a number of months now and it is still in one piece, would definitely recommend!

I felt compelled to write about this toy because I can't believe how something so cheap has turned out to be so hardy! Our Jack Russell cross has destroyed all previous toys in a matter of a week or so - sometimes in minutes - and when this octopus first arrived I was convinced it would become an 'noctopus' - no limbs! - in a very short space of time. However after over two months of daily chewing - JR absolutely loves it - it is still perfectly intact and still squeaks like it did on day one.

My labrador/golden retriever puppy loves this and although we have had it for months, has not damaged it, not for want of trying. This toy has a squeaker in the head, but my dog tends not to squeak it because he just carries it about. The octopus arms make a crinkly sound.

My 2 yr old chocolate lab made seriously short work of this. 10 minutes from the box to disembowelment with me sitting right next to her stopping her from getting down and having a good chew... I expected much more from the Kong brand. Might suit a smaller/less destructive dog.

Harry loves this, it sqeaks, it crackles and he can play tug with it! Three toys in one.

The little dog loved it, but it only lasted a couple of hours—the stitching came undone in the padded part.

Like all dog toys, and this one is no exception, they get damaged... This particular one split open twice in an hour, which isn’t too bad. I sewed it back up and he’s still playing with it. I like that it’s easy to stitch up. He hasn’t lost interest and it’s become his mascot on the sofa.

Unlike other products, this one lasts really long. It’s already survived tug-of-war sessions with my two Rottweiler girls. Absolutely loved, clear recommendation to buy!

My French bulldog tore it apart in 15 minutes, rubbish, I thought Kong toys were indestructible, but nope.

Nicely made overall, but unfortunately only short-lived fun, as the first tentacle was already bitten off after just half an hour.
