Top-notch
...for my Great Danes. I think it smells good, and the dogs really enjoy eating it. I feed it as a preventive measure, and they stand perfectly straight on their legs.

Strong aftertaste
Whether Luposan has any effect, I can't really say yet – we've only been feeding it for about 3 weeks. BUT: it has a very strong aftertaste – my dog only eats it now that I mix it into yoghurt. I think I'll go back to the more expensive product from the vet, which comes in pellet form and apparently tastes better.

2 years of Luposan for a 10-year-old dog
Huhuu!
I’ve written here before, around January 2003 (just *scroll down*!).
We’ve since moved house and had to change vets. The new vet said that feeding Luposan to dogs who don’t have acute problems or are still growing is actually harmful because it supplies too much calcium to the joints, causing the soft cartilage to harden. Soft cartilage and joint tissue are essential for the natural shock-absorbing effect. So, I stopped using it for a while – but had only negative experiences with the alternative therapy. I was told to keep Hexe on a lead at all times – no running, no jumping, no playing with her doggy friends, no swimming! What kind of life is that for a dog???
When I went back to that vet three months later and got the comment, “No wonder the dog is limping, she’s completely mollycoddled,” I switched to another vet (a female one this time). She said that giving Luposan to my *ageing* dog is a thousand times healthier than constantly relying on painkillers, which she would need without Luposan!!!!
I think if I asked Hexe, she’d rather live a happy life until 15 than a bored one until 16, spending every week at the vet for injections. A hardened spondylosis without pain is better than one that forces you to put your dog out of their misery!!!!!
And Luposan helps MASSIVELY with its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids. Hexe is now 10 and doing great!
She gets 1/2 ML daily mixed into her food. At first, she was a bit fussy because of the fishy smell, but she quickly got used to it, cleaned her bowl, and it works! No more age-related complaints, no limping – NOTHING!!! Goodbye, vet visits!
If that’s not a recommendation, then what is!!??!!
Best wishes, ULLI AND HEXE

Unbelievable, it helps ...
My German Shepherd bitch (12 years old) was on painkillers for about 3/4 of a year and could barely walk 500 metres at times. I had even started thinking about putting her to sleep. Then I tried Luposan. Believe it or not: after 1 month, the dog was walking perfectly fine without painkillers, and after 3 months, she managed to hike through the Palatinate Forest for 5 hours without any issues. I'm more than thrilled! It's not even more expensive than painkillers, and as a bonus, my Suzy now sheds much less hair (I used to have to vacuum daily, but now every 3-4 days is enough).
***ABSOLUTELY TOP***

Super, super, super!
Our 10-month-old Golden Retriever female was limping occasionally with her hind legs, especially after getting up and during changes in the weather. I did some research and came across Luposan Joint Power, and after about 2 weeks, our Lucy stopped limping completely... and hasn’t since. The vet said it was a growth disorder and prescribed tablets. By chance, we visited another vet who said she wouldn’t even give those tablets to an old dog. So, LUPOSAN really works brilliantly. She hasn’t been X-rayed for hip dysplasia yet, but we’ve got an appointment in 2 weeks, just to be on the safe side. Highly recommended!!!

Great product
Helped my 9-year-old Bobtail Giant Schnauzer get back on his feet brilliantly when combined with Hokamix powder.

Great
I can only agree with the many positive opinions. A year ago, I welcomed a 5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog into our family. After an X-ray, the vet informed me that our new family member has HD in its final stage and advised against giving this dog a new home. But we thought to ourselves – now more than ever. I educated myself about this condition and came across Zooplus and Luposan. In the meantime, I also tried two other, cheaper products, but immediately noticed a deterioration. No more experimenting now. I know for sure that it’s Luposan that really helps our dog and makes him – and us – super happy. He’s worth it!!! Thanks to the manufacturer, and hopefully not too many dog owners blindly follow the vets’ advice but form their own opinions through research and trying things out. Do your dogs a favour! Bye and all the best :-)

I got my Rudi (Bernese Mountain Dog) when he was eight weeks old, and it didn’t take long for us to realise that his hip didn’t look good. Since he was five months old, I’ve been feeding him Lupo San as well, and it’s really doing him good. And if his hip stays as it is, he can live well with it, thanks to Lupo San. Highly recommended, give it a try, it’s worth it!!!

My Hovi with HD has been getting GAG (contents of mussel extract) as a supplement since his first year of life. At first, I bought the expensive version from the vet as a preventative measure. Then I discovered this product, which the vet claimed didn’t have proven evidence of containing 20% mussel extract. I think he just prefers to sell his pricey product. I’ve been using this product for 5 years now, and my dog still has no mobility issues due to his HD. To be on the safe side, I feed him a little more than what’s recommended on the tin. It’s still cheaper than comparable products!
