Lupo san...it helps
Our old dog was supposed to be put to sleep because she could hardly walk anymore. Now she’s been getting Lupo San daily for some time, though at double the dose, and she’s doing better. It’s only temporary, but she’s gained a bit of quality of life and a little more time on this earth.

Not bad
We have 2 Newfies (male & female), littermates and both 1 year old.
The female was diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia at 6 months. We've been treating her with homeopathy and Canosan and have now switched to Luposan, so we can't notice any difference. But I think it's good for the dogs. The male is getting it prophylactically as well. Unfortunately, Madam has become quite picky with the powder lately, while the male eats everything. We're now going to try the pellets.

Not recommended
I have a 10-year-old German Shepherd bitch. She has been having problems with her right hind leg for about a year. Based on the good reviews of the product on this site, I decided to buy it. Unfortunately, I never read that the product also promises success for German Shepherds. Oh well. I administered the remedy once daily with wet food for 3 months, as recommended by the manufacturer, and it was eaten very willingly. After about 2 months, I noticed that my German Shepherd was losing hair on her back, which didn’t worry me too much since the dog constantly suffers from mild hair loss. Unfortunately, the hair loss kept getting worse, resulting in a bald patch about 5x5 cm on her back. I then stopped using the product after 3 months, and to my surprise, the bald patch was covered with hair again after about a month. Sadly, there was no change in her gait either; my dog is limping just as much as before. A shame about the money.

Only mediocre
My 8-year-old dog has mild arthritis, and I’ve been feeding him this product for almost four months now, after my vet recommended a dietary supplement and raised no objections to Luposan. While my dog’s limping has almost completely disappeared since December and he no longer needs medication, I’d still like to avoid promoting Luposan as a miracle cure for joint problems. In our case, it was at best supportive, but certainly not solely responsible for the improvement. If Luposan helped at all, it was likely over a longer period and not within just 1–2 weeks.
My conclusion is that you can use it as a dietary supplement, but you should always seek veterinary advice if your dog is limping and also consider adjusting your dog’s daily routine a bit. For example, my dog no longer climbs stairs, and I’ve also reduced the length of walks and playtime.
Relying solely on Luposan and hoping things will improve on their own is definitely not the right approach!

Super
My female dog, 2 years old, a German Shepherd, had recurring issues with her hind paw due to a cruciate ligament tear. After running for a while, she would often start limping. I fed her Luposan for about 7 days, and since then, it has really improved significantly. She even goes cycling with me again now! This stuff is absolutely brilliant! My little one, 7 months old, is getting it as a preventative measure. Both of them tolerate it really well.

Miracle cure for arthritis
I am absolutely thrilled with Luposan! My 9-year-old Doberman has severe arthritis in his knee joints and often couldn’t get up even after short walks. He also limped quite badly and was in pain (despite Rimadyl painkillers prescribed by the vet). Since I started giving him Luposan, he’s doing amazingly well! He enjoys going for walks and romps around like a young dog. He doesn’t limp anymore, even though we now go for walks twice as long as before. Fetching sticks used to be torture for him just a few weeks ago—he showed zero interest in it. Now he loves it! I’m absolutely convinced by its effectiveness and can only recommend it to everyone! I’m thrilled!!!

Helps with large breeds
My Bordeaux Mastiff is now 3.5 years old. He’s been getting Luposan for 3 years, and so far, there haven’t been any issues with his hips. With some large breeds, you’d expect problems from the age of 2-3, but my Dicki handles it perfectly.

Simply brilliant
My two dogs (11 years and 8 months) have been getting Luposan for 4 months now. They absolutely love it; I dissolve it in warm water. It smells even better that way :-) The smell doesn’t bother me – and as long as it helps... I’ll definitely keep using it!

Works - Dog smells
I've been feeding the powder to my dog for 2 weeks now, following the instructions on the packaging. You can already notice a significant difference in the dog – he used to limp in the evenings after longer walks or when he'd been particularly active, but that's no longer the case. The powder has a very fishy smell (due to the mussel extract), which neither I nor the dog mind, although now my whole dog smells like mussels. But since the powder does what it's supposed to, I can only recommend it.

Stress on my dogs...
My dogs are under a lot of strain, whether it's from daily play or at least three times a week of agility training. I’ve been feeding my Aussies, aged 4 years and 7 months (the younger one obviously doesn’t do agility yet), Luposan since they were puppies, and they are extremely fit and have NEVER shown any bone problems!!! My dogs play very rough, whether it’s tug-of-war games or running to fetch balls and/or playing with each other. I can only recommend it.
The other comments I’ve read—one must also keep in mind that, as good as Luposan is, it doesn’t replace a vet! At my place, they get a scoop of it (using the included spoon) in their food every day. A little tip: if your dog doesn’t want to eat it, just pour a bit of oil over it—it works wonders!

Review
I can only recommend this product because anyone who cares about their dog should add it to their food.
This product makes the lame walk again.

Joint Power, thank goodness!
My Galgo comes from animal rescue in Spain, and he had trouble getting up. I ordered a tin from you, and after just 14 days, he's back to being really spry – I haven’t changed his food, didn’t go to the vet, and he’s simply moving better and more agilely. Thank you so much!

I'm thrilled
Our 6-year-old German Shepherd has severe arthritis in his hip joints. Despite medication, he suffered quite acute attacks and would then hobble around heavily. Since the beginning of September 2006, he’s been taking Luposan and has been symptom-free ever since. We’re now able to go on long walks again without any issues, and he doesn’t need the medication anymore either. At first, I didn’t have high hopes, but now I swear by Luposan!!!

Lupo San is highly recommended.
Highly recommended! Ever since our 6-year-old female dog started taking Lupo San, she hasn’t had any issues with her joints. We’ve been giving it to her for over 2 weeks now, and she no longer limps after walks, which used to happen all the time before.

I wouldn't have thought that.
I’ve been feeding Luposan for about 1.5 years now. My 2.5-year-old German Shepherd-Husky mix has mild hip dysplasia on one side. He’s generally quite prone to injuries and used to limp occasionally after playing before I started using Luposan. But with Luposan, I feel like he’s become much tougher. Awkward movements don’t bother him at all anymore. Unfortunately, he’s not too keen on the powder, but I’ve found a trick that works quite well now, and he eats it—albeit reluctantly—but it works.

Sensational!!
For 1.5 years now, we’ve been giving our now 9-year-old Münsterländer Luposan every day; after he occasionally limped and had age-related joint issues before, he now runs, romps, and moves around constantly like a young dog! I think it’s absolutely recommendable to always add Luposan preventively to his food; in our experience, it’s a real miracle cure, and the price is absolutely fair!

Okay
I find the price quite high.
It smells awful. The dog only eats it reluctantly. Unfortunately, we had to throw away some of the powder... So we can't say whether it helps.

super average
Hello animal lovers,
Our 12-year-old German Shepherd has been taking Luposan for about 2 years now. She used to have major problems with walking, but since then, it's almost as if those issues have been resolved. Truly an amazing product!

Great
My nine-year-old Rottie could barely walk without painkillers and cortisone (degenerative stenosis), but after just one tub of Luposan, he's been walking completely medication-free for three weeks and is in great shape. I was sceptical at first, but it seems to work!
