Lovely lead with a detachable carabiner
This lead has been in use with me for a few months now, and I quite like using it. My biggest plus point is the detachable carabiner at the lower end. Anyone with a white dog is probably familiar with the problem of ugly discoloured fur in the rain. This can be avoided here by attaching the lead directly to the collar and leaving out the carabiner. My only downside is that the lead has stretched on one side and lost some of its width, even though my dog isn’t a puller.

Solid lead for a battle dachshund
For our dachshund, the lead is almost perfect. What I love most is the length, as most leather leads are a maximum of 2m, which is too short for me. The extra 40cm on this lead really makes a difference, and it’s become one of my favourite leads!
So why only 4 stars and "almost perfect"? Firstly: For small dogs, the lower clip for attaching to the collar/harness is almost embarrassingly large. ;) However, you can easily remove and replace it thanks to the clasp, if you want to (I haven’t done so yet).
The other issue is the same "problem" as with the Heim collar: One edge of the lead is quite sharp, while the other is pleasantly soft. But for the price, that’s nitpicking at a high level – I’d still buy the lead again anytime!

Super lead!
I've had the lead for a few months now and I'm very satisfied. At first, I was sceptical because of the low price, but I can confidently say that it's even better than some expensive leads. Why 4 out of 5 stars? - Unfortunately, the rings used to adjust the length rust quite quickly. However, I should also mention that they're often exposed to wet, rainy weather and frequently drag on the ground since my dog (30 kg) doesn't pull at all. I'd happily pay a few euros more if the rings were rustproof as well...

Good quality for this price
This lead has really good quality and can withstand our Irish Wolfhound. However, I should mention that he often runs off-lead. When that's not possible, the lead comes into play.
A great feature is the interchangeable carabiner hook. We haven't had to replace it yet, and we've been using the lead for a good 4 months.
The only downside: It stretches quite a bit when our 70 kg dog pulls (if he smells something special or suddenly gets scared, as he's a bit of a scaredy-cat), so you have to be careful not to get knocked over. That's why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars. However, this can be avoided if you adjust the lead to be shorter. Plus, it's leather—leather naturally stretches, especially if it's single-layered.
