Following the recommendations from previous reviews, we ordered the coat one size smaller (35 cm), and it fits our toy poodle perfectly! The cut is especially great for male dogs. The coat is lightweight, has a thin fleece layer inside, doesn’t rustle, and even withstands heavy rain. And all of this at a fantastic price. 5 stars!

The product was delivered very quickly and feels great. It fits our French Bulldog (16 months old) perfectly in size 35.

The coat is very nice, but unfortunately my dog is too slim for this coat. Even the tightest setting of the click fastener is still too loose. Such a shame! That's why I have to send it back.

I bought the coat for my Border Collie female after purchasing the same coat for my male dog three years ago and having only positive experiences with it. Whether in wind and weather or heavy rain, the coat has proven itself very well, and my boy even willingly slips into it when it’s raining and storming outside. When my female dog’s raincoat became too small, there was no question about it... the softshell coat for the male dog was reordered. I can only recommend it. Truly top-notch.

The coat fits perfectly, and even the leg straps don’t unsettle my dog. The strap isn’t too long either, contrary to what you might read in some comments. Maybe we just got lucky. We’re very happy and would definitely recommend buying it! :)

The length of the back was perfect for my collie but the rest of the coat was huge. The webbing straps with clip that should fasten over his back were far too long and left the tummy fabric hanging down. The straps could not be adjusted to make it fit because the fabric strips that come up the dog’s sides from his tummy, shown on the above illustration as coming half way up the dog’s sides, actually met over his back. Also, the elastic loops for his back legs hung down loosely. Waste of money.

The coat is absolutely great. Warm and waterproof without being bulky. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their pooch dry and warm, excellent.

Unfortunately, the coat is not well-tailored. The length fits perfectly (I measured the dog beforehand), but the sides are far too long and slide back and forth. The collar is also not directly at the neck but rather at the shoulder blades. Otherwise, I’m always satisfied with products from zooplus, and delivery was very quick.

The coat fits my Beagle really well. It’s wind-resistant and therefore well-suited for blustery autumn or spring days. Unfortunately, it’s not suitable at all for rainy days. After the second time wearing it on a rainy day, it was completely soaked through and the dog was wet. I re-waterproofed it and ended up buying a proper raincoat instead.

Our dog loves wearing the coat! However, I could have used an in-between size – we have the 40 length, and 45 would have been a bit too big :-)

A great coat. I was able to fix the problem with the overly long straps with a few small stitches. (Long-haired German Shepherd, 37 kilos, 65 cm shoulder height, lots of undercoat.) I chose the 70 cm long coat. The collar is a bit too short, his mane sticks out quite a bit at the top. Otherwise, everything fits perfectly, and it keeps his back and sides nice and dry. The material is fantastic. It doesn’t rustle and is just the right thickness. It would be great in blue or red.

We are very happy with this coat. My little one needs her coats in a 70cm back length, and it fits perfectly. However, for autumn weather, I would love to see the previous colour combination of orange/black brought back. Unfortunately, ours broke last year and couldn’t be repaired.

This coat is far too wide for my Chihuahua! And the straps with the click closure can't be adjusted tightly enough. My large Chihuahua has a back length of 28cm.

Super product. I've been using the coat for almost a year now and I'm really pleasantly surprised. It fits very well, and my dog stays dry even in the heaviest rain.

Very nice, but make sure to order one size smaller, just like with the yellow neon raincoat available here at ZooPlus (which I can also recommend). Normally, Maxi has a back length of 35 cm for coats, but here I went with 30 cm. Fits perfectly. The buckles are a bit bulky, but it’s probably not much effort to replace them with Velcro, especially at this low price. Otherwise, it’s a great little coat—lovely to touch, the colour is fantastic, and it’s well-made. I’ll probably get another one, especially for this price.

We got the orange version for our labrador. I did have to alter the black part of the strap that goes under the tummy as it was way too big, but once it fit her it is great and even when she is running around it does not seem to get in the way and is a snug comfy fit. It is waterproof enough to make it easier when we get home to just dry paws off, although sometimes you can feel in places the water starting to come through, particularly around her belly.

This is perfect for my German Shepherd X Old English Sheepdog. His coat keeps him very warm but it does soak up the rain so this is perfect. The material is firm enough that it stays in place, unlike others that slide round or blow about. It is easy to adjust and put on and take off. I use a harness which I just put on over the coat. The dog is happy to wear it and seems perfectly comfortable in it.

The size of 50cm fits my dog well, but the fastening strap is far too long. I had to shorten it straight away. I would like to see a connection under the belly, as this would make the coat sit more securely. Without using the leg loops (which my dog doesn’t tolerate well), the coat slips. The material doesn’t rustle and is soft. It’s definitely windproof and warm enough. It also dries well, which is necessary because it’s far from being waterproof. Big points deducted for that.

My fully grown Shih Tzu wears size 35, and it fits perfectly. The coat is easy to put on and seems sturdy (Murphy's coat from another brand only lasted a few months before the Velcro and zip were ruined). It keeps him warm by protecting against wind and wet weather. The coat doesn’t need to be thicker, as Murphy already has dense fur that's several centimetres long.
