Too thin for the season, it's more suited to a chilly spring.

It's too big even though measured correctly.

This dog coat is good for colder days when it’s NOT raining, as it soaks up water and ends up wet on the dog. It leaks through immediately. In terms of fit, it’s well-designed and fits perfectly. My dog wears this coat when it’s cool outside but not freezing, as it’s not warm enough for sub-zero temperatures. Ideal for the transitional seasons but not warm enough for deep winter. It’s easy to put on and can be washed without any issues.

Unfortunately, the coat is far too wide in circumference. The neck and chest don't fit my dog even on the smallest setting – it just hangs down completely (my dog's chest circumference is 65cm and neck 45cm). However, the material is excellent.

Very good and sufficient for autumn, but as soon as it rains, the fabric absorbs water completely. Therefore, only 2 stars.

The length of this coat was perfect for my border collie but the body was far too wide. The chest band went down to his knees even when the strap going round his body was shortened as far as possible. The elastic loops to hold the sides in place over his hindquarters also hung loosely so were totally ineffective. Waste of money.

The length of the back was perfect for my collie but the rest of the coat was huge. The webbing straps with clip that should fasten over his back were far too long and left the tummy fabric hanging down. The straps could not be adjusted to make it fit because the fabric strips that come up the dog’s sides from his tummy, shown on the above illustration as coming half way up the dog’s sides, actually met over his back. Also, the elastic loops for his back legs hung down loosely. Waste of money.

This coat is far too wide for my Chihuahua! And the straps with the click closure can't be adjusted tightly enough. My large Chihuahua has a back length of 28cm.

Although I measured correctly as instructed, the coat is way too big! 35cm for a 4kg Yorkie – absolutely not! Luckily, it fit his doggy friend, who is twice his size. Such a shame, I’m still unsure whether to order a smaller size; I think even 30cm might be too big. :(

the back length is spot on, but around the neck and waist is far to wide cant shorten straps enough and too long in the leg. actual material is good tho, just be aware of sizing

My Hungarian mixed breed has a back length of 60cm. I thought it would be better to go 2cm too big rather than 7cm too small. When the coat arrived, I was absolutely disappointed. The length wasn’t an issue, but the size around the chest was a problem. My dog is quite slim, and even the smallest adjustable size was far too big and nowhere near fitting. In my opinion, a pony could have fit in it. As for the material, I would have been completely satisfied.

It's a shame that this coat had to be returned despite the good reviews... even though my dog's back length is 41cm, the coat in size 40cm is waaaay too big!
