It's a great bed for my Zack. However bear in mind, that the sizes are for the whole cushion, where the actual sleeping mattress is much smaller, as the cushion edges take approximately 1/4 of the actual size. Nevertheless my dog loves to sleep in that bed with his head resting on the chunky soft cushion
