Easy to assemble, a high-quality scratching post, and a cat that fell in love with it during the setup. The easy climb thanks to the surrounding steps is a blessing for our 16-year-old furry friend. Brilliant!

A great scratching post for my senior cat! I managed to assemble it on my own in just over 30 minutes, and I’m no expert at this. It would be easier with two people, but it’s definitely doable solo. Once assembled, it’s very sturdy. Nothing wobbles, even when the cat is playing and jumping on it. At first, my cat didn’t know what to do with the steps. But after just a few practice sessions with treats, she now goes up and down them with ease. I’m absolutely delighted and glad I bought it!

Our cat loves her new scratching post. At first, it took her a little while to figure out how to climb up the steps, but with a few treats, it worked out well. Since then, the scratching post has become our cat's favourite spot. Build it from top to bottom.

Excellent cat tree. My cat enjoys lying on the middle platform, and sometimes sleeping on the top bed. She climbs down carefully using the steps - it is lovely to watch.

This cat tree is simply amazing! We have a deep living room window, and the cat tree is placed in front of it. The cats love lying on the "heavenly bed" and watching the cold weather from their cosy spot. The large middle section is also a popular chill-out area. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone who has a deep window for a great view. Value for money: 5☆

I needed a reasonably sized but sturdy cat tree for our old boy. I saw this appeared to fit the bill and assembling it was pretty easy. Just a couple of minor points that I noted. The bolts need to be more clearly marked and one of them was the wrong length.. The unit needs to be built from the top down not the bottom up. This should have been highlighted better. Apart from that it is great and was used straight away. Highly recommended by me and the cats.

I was looking for a cat tree for my cat who is not able to redress her balance, so that she cannot walk, climb or jump properly. This is such an amazing product, very sturdy and well thought of. Distance between the layers allow her to climb safely and without any overwhelming effort. My cat learnt how to climb just in a day and now enjoying the outside view.

The tree has to be assembled from top to bottom. The upper platform is connected to the lower trunk using a long connecting piece. The connecting piece is marked, and during assembly, the longer part needs to be screwed into the trunk. This way, nothing sticks out. My older cat immediately claimed the tree for herself and is now happily padding up the steps to her new little bed. The tree doesn’t smell at all and is absolutely stable. My cat is thrilled. :o)

The scratching post is perfect for our 13-year-old cat lady. It’s the right height, so she loves lying and sleeping on the top level. Plus, she can get up there without any trouble, as she’s not too keen on jumping anymore. And since our Maja isn’t the slimmest cat—which is partly due to her breed—she still has plenty of space. The only downside was the assembly. I put it together on my own and it took me 1.5 hours. I should really deduct a star for that.

Absolutely brilliant, very sturdily built, easy to assemble, was immediately accepted by the cats even while still disassembled, excellent value for money for the price, highly recommended.

Bought this a few months ago. Chose this style as our cat is an amputee and we needed a sturdy model to meet her needs. She loves it - the "stepping stools" aid her to access the upper platform which is the perfect size for a snooze, the other levels are a decent size to sit/lie on. So glad we bought this.

We have two older "gentlemen," and one of them is ill and isn't allowed to jump up and down as much anymore. This senior tree was just perfect for him. We ordered it, and it arrived very quickly, as always with "zooplus." It was set up and immediately accepted. We're ordering another one today for the other room. It's easy to assemble, has sturdy posts, and looks nice too... though I would have liked it in another colour as well.

Very easy to assemble, the cats love it. The scratching post is sturdy and heavy. Our 15-year-old kitty had ligament tears in both hind legs last year, so this is naturally perfect for her! I had been looking for something like this and am glad I found it.

...and my 14-year-old Persian darling jumped on it this morning and is now sleeping there. We got it yesterday, and it was immediately accepted by both cats.

My tomcat took a while to warm up to the new scratching post. But now he loves lying on it, especially on the large middle platform. Cats are usually sceptical at first, most of the time. The Emil is very well-made and sturdy, with a completely different design. The steps are particularly great, as our cat has arthritis. We're very happy with it!

We bought the scratching post for our senior cats. Once it was set up – easy assembly, very sturdy – our younger cats were the first to give it a try. The seniors sniffed around a bit, cautiously tested it, and now they love lying there. You can look out of the window, but the scratching post isn’t so tall that they have to climb up for ages. Thanks to the steps, even our 15-year-old tomcat can use it easily. Visitors have been very impressed with its appearance so far.

After going backwards and forwards over the decision to by this for my sweet older cat, she uses this everyday. It's the perfect height for her to look out the window comfortably and the steps make it easier for her to climb up and down. She loves to snooze on the large platforms. Definitely worth the cost :)

After some initial scepticism and days of my dear senior cat circling around it, the scratching post is now used daily. The height is perfect, allowing her to comfortably look out of the window, the little steps make climbing up and down easier, the lounging areas are nicely spacious, and everything is overall very sturdy. The scratching post is definitely worth the money :-)
