My big tomcat loves the barrel! The cushion has a high, thick edge where he can really snuggle in. The cushion is bigger and higher than on the Primerose scratching barrel, so it's even better for him!

This scratching barrel is happily used by my kitty. She lounges on the three levels and can make herself "invisible" when needed. The only criticism so far: the barrel smells a bit chemical.

It's not just visually amazing but also very popular with my two little stinkers.

All four cats are fighting over the top spot! Very sturdy and well-made! The "cushions" in the lower caves could definitely be a bit more comfortable; they're really just small fabric inserts.

The tower is nice, my cats took to it straight away, but my only complaint is that the basket at the top doesn’t stay in place. I put another basket there instead and now everything is perfect.

Our cat immediately tried out all the possibilities with this tower, except for scratching. She likes to lie on top and look out the window, and she uses the lower spaces when she wants to hide and be left alone (we have these turned towards the wall). I bought it hoping she would scratch it, but she prefers to use a small scratching post instead, hence the rating of 4. Otherwise, the whole piece of furniture is of very good quality.
