The bin was immediately well received and it doesn’t smell chemical but pleasantly of wood. However, when our cat, with his three kilos, takes a running start, it tips over. We can’t leave it standing freely without weighing it down at the bottom. Hence, only 4 ****.

The top layer tore very quickly. Such a shame.

Simply wonderful, sturdy, and he’s taken to it. It smells wonderfully of fresh wood, very quick delivery. I’ve also ordered some toys, and now he’s tearing around like a madman.

I brought this for my Cat about 18 months ago & it’s been great, he sits on the top and scratches the barrel. Never played in the holes with the Pom Pom’s. We got a kitten a month ago who has played with it for 3 days and 2 of the 3 Pom poms have come off 😫

I’ve never had such "success" with scratching boards or toys for my two cats (Maine Coon and Persian). Shortly after receiving the barrel, I threw some treats inside, and the cats immediately took to it. The furniture is spared from scratching. The barrel is also big enough for the larger Maine Coon, and the Persian cat uses the lid as a sleeping spot.

Only had this for 24 hours but so far both kittens love climbing on and playing in this. One in particular loves the balls at the entrance to the holes, hope they last.. Came home from work this morning and both kitties were napping on top so I think we can safely say it's a hit! Fingers crossed it saves my poor sofa! Also it's not as unattractive as other cat furniture and it fits in my scheme quite well.

We and our kittens are super happy with the product. It’s very sturdy, spacious, and beautifully soft on the inside. It looks great in our living room, and the little ones have completely claimed it. We can only recommend it!

After having bad experiences with scratching posts, I decided to order this barrel. I have two "ground cats" – meaning they don’t feel the need to jump or climb anywhere. They took to the barrel straight away. The scratching surface is made of much better and more durable material than the posts of scratching trees, so I’m hopeful that the barrel will last longer than six months.

I bought the barrel in addition to two trees. My cat took to the barrel after a short time and can stretch, climb, and hide on it nicely. I'm satisfied.

Great scratching barrel, and it's used very often and daily. I bought the first barrel in 2015, and there are hardly any signs of wear. This year, I bought another one for myself and one for my sister – now you can even remove and wash the top bed 👍 Totally perfect and sturdy for a normal house cat up to 6kg. I would buy it again anytime!

However, the scratching post was used from the very first minute. The caves are happily used for sleeping, and scratching is also done enthusiastically on it. The scratching post doesn’t smell...

This scratching post, which we call the condominium... is brilliant. Much more durable than the M. It's both a toy and three sleeping spots!

My ragdoll kitten loves his scratch barrel and spends loads of time charging at and diving in and out the holes. Hours of fun! Highly recommended!

Both tomcats love this barrel.

Tried to get them to use scratching posts, but never interested. Much prefer the carpet or clambering up the side of the armchair... The barrel gives them something they can scratch and climb. They aren't that interested in the lower two 'floors'; but absolutely love the top bit for sleeping on and the top inner 'floor' for jumping into. The balls did not last long (one for just 12 hours). Quality is OK. The main sisal covered bit will last well I think (fur trim and dangling balls, not so much)

I'm quite satisfied with the barrel. My cats took to it straight away, which is great. The only annoying thing is that the jingle balls came off after barely 10 minutes of play. Other than that, it's brilliant. Well-made overall and no unpleasant smell.

We now have two of these barrels, but there will probably be a third one soon. We have four cats and they all love them equally. They find the other scratching posts much less interesting and play with them far less.

My cat really likes this. In the summer, it's a lookout spot on the balcony, and in the winter, it's used indoors. The little hideouts are perfect for siestas during hot weather. The soft balls are a nice bonus.

Luckily, it looks stylish because now it's just a part of the decor—my cat hasn't scratched the scratching post even once. It's a shame it goes unused.

Very nice and comfortable scratching post for my cats. Charlie loves to sleep in the basket on top, and it’s also a really handy place to store your cat toys (in the little circles).

The scratching post is sturdy and nice, but the top cushion I received was sewn back to front (the layer that attaches to the Velcro is inside the bed).

The base of the top cushion was sewn on backwards, so it doesn’t stick to the Velcro at all, not even a little bit.

I bought mine 4 years ago, and my cat loves it. This one is for a friend, it's sturdy, durable, and meets the basic needs of the cat.
