Great purchase. Well made, looks good, kittens love it. Find them in morning sleeping together on the top. Littlest one took to it the moment we set it down. Very impressed with the quality. Yes one ball has come off but not so surprising - still have two. Definitely can recommend.

It's a really sturdy and good quality item! I was debating whether a cat tree or scratch barrel would be best and I'm glad I went with this. Currently being used my my adult dsh and her five nearly 4 week old kittens, they love it! The black looks really nice, unfortunately the grey went out of stock and I'm not a fan of beige, yet it fits in well with my house. Judging by the quality I think it will last years, so a very good investment!

My cats like them.

We got two 8-week-old kittens (their mother had a broken leg). At first, they were scared, then really wild, but the scratching barrel didn’t interest them at all, even with treats. Only after a few play sessions around the barrel did they really take to it, and now they absolutely love it. They can even climb all the way to the top, and the dangling pom-poms are very fascinating to them because they jingle too.

Was immediately accepted by our cats.

I got the scratching barrel in grey (very stylish), and my two cats took to it straight away. One of them immediately claimed the top spot as a "lookout tower" for herself. And the best part: I didn’t have to assemble anything, just unpack it and – bam! It was ready to go, standing there all set up.

Very good for the price

Good quality, it's just too small for my Maine Coon... She still squeezes herself in anyway. My average-sized tomcat loves the barrel. I can recommend it.

When I unpacked it, I was already thrilled; I ordered it in black... My British Shorthair (fully grown) immediately jumped on it and thanked me with a meow! Thank you, Zooplus, you’ve gained another customer – the cat litter is great too!

Very large and sturdy scratching barrel. However, I find it negative that the holes are more suited to small cats, the cushion is also very small, and you can't remove it for washing.

My little ones are properly arguing over who gets to sleep on the bin today. The little gang is just too cute. It's really sturdy, and the cats took to it straight away. Highly recommend! 🤗👍👌😘

Stable and looks high-quality too.

At first my cat ignored it and wouldn't go anywhere near it. But after a month of it sitting there unused, she suddenly started playing with it, scratching it, and finally sleeping on it all the time! Now she's always perched on top, surveying her domain. Very satisfied!

This scratching barrel not only looks great, but it's also a fantastic sleeping spot! And the balls at each entrance encourage my two to play and romp around. Excellent value for money!

Our little one loves using it for romping and playing. The quality is truly fantastic, and visually, it's a real eye-catcher.

After delivery, the big box was initially more interesting. We used treats to make the new item appealing to the two of them. The younger tomcat is still a bit sceptical. I think our cat has found a new favourite spot from today onwards. The reason for the purchase is the construction of a wall-mounted climbing area, with the barrel serving as a scratching option. I hope the scratching feature will be well received too.

Of all the many things we have bought our kittens this is the Best Buy! They LOVE it and use it all the time. Great as a scratching post, beds to sleep in alone or together, a tunnel and tower to launch themselves up & down; a place to jump out and ambush each other. As you can see it provides hours of entertainment for ALL of us 😂😂😂 and it is well built and well priced. Will be getting another one for upstairs.

This scratching barrel has massively exceeded my expectations! It's sturdy ,stable, looks good and more importantly my two cats adore it. Had it five months now and even with rough continual use it looks new.

Good quality, we got it in black. Our two Russians absolutely loved it. Not really for playing, but perfect for sharpening their claws and especially for my tomcat – it's his new favourite spot to sleep up top. Simply brilliant!!!

We now have two of these barrels, but there will probably be a third one soon. We have four cats and they all love them equally. They find the other scratching posts much less interesting and play with them far less.

My cat really likes this. In the summer, it's a lookout spot on the balcony, and in the winter, it's used indoors. The little hideouts are perfect for siestas during hot weather. The soft balls are a nice bonus.

Luckily, it looks stylish because now it's just a part of the decor—my cat hasn't scratched the scratching post even once. It's a shame it goes unused.

Very nice and comfortable scratching post for my cats. Charlie loves to sleep in the basket on top, and it’s also a really handy place to store your cat toys (in the little circles).

The scratching post is sturdy and nice, but the top cushion I received was sewn back to front (the layer that attaches to the Velcro is inside the bed).

The base of the top cushion was sewn on backwards, so it doesn’t stick to the Velcro at all, not even a little bit.

I bought mine 4 years ago, and my cat loves it. This one is for a friend, it's sturdy, durable, and meets the basic needs of the cat.
